Chapter 14: The Clash of Titans

In the previous chapter they met a group of people calle enchanced warriors they soon found out that the group was looking for them to bring the three to their leader dead or alive, when they found out they soon started to fight, Michael who was aware of what's happening teleported them to different places in order to increase their chance of winning, Angelo fought Argon and win and now the fight between Trace and Michael will soon begin too!

The air crackled with a strange energy, a shiver of unseen force rippling through the battlefield. Michael, eyes blazing with determination, raised his hand, a dark energy gathering at his fingertips. Around him, time seemed to warp, a distorted ripple in the fabric of reality.

"Well, I'm amazed by your quick thinking," Trace chuckled, his voice laced with admiration. "And your ability? Even more impressive. I'm thrilled to fight you, Michael!"

Michael, focused on the task at hand, simply nodded. "Shall we begin, then?"

"Gladly," Trace grinned, a glint of excitement in his eyes. "Let's see if you can survive this!"

With a swift motion, Michael activated his "temporal acceleration," a surge of power propelling him forward at incredible speed. His fist aimed true, but to his surprise, it met solid stone instead of Trace's form. Confusion clouded his features as he realized the clever deception.

"What? How?" Michael exclaimed, his voice filled with disbelief. "I thought I punched him in the face!"

Trace appeared behind him, a mischievous grin on his face. "Wow, time-like skills too? Amazing. By the way, do you like my ability? I can control stones, and I'm not afraid to use them!"

With a flick of his wrist, Trace manipulated a bunch of small rocks, summoning his "shattering storm" skill. A vortex of projectiles whirled towards Michael, each rock a potential source of pain.

"Let's see if you can survive that attack with no injury," Trace challenged, his voice dripping with confidence.

Michael, however, remained unfazed. He slowed time around him, a subtle shift that allowed him to deflect the incoming barrage. "Do you think that's enough to damage me?" he retorted, his voice calm and steady.

Impressed by Michael's quick thinking, Trace chuckled. "Impressive, I really admire your quick thinking skills. But I'm just getting started!"

With a sudden shake of the ground, Trace used his earth manipulation to destabilize the ground beneath Michael's feet. Michael stumbled, falling to his knees. Seizing the opportunity, Trace unleashed a powerful punch, his fist covered in stone, striking Michael in the stomach. The impact sent Michael crashing to the ground, a wave of excruciating pain coursing through his body.

"Aghhhhh, damn it!" Michael groaned, clutching his stomach. "I shouldn't have let my guard down. I need to injure him, or the others will be in danger!"

With a surge of willpower, Michael pushed himself back to his feet. "You're strong," he admitted, his voice laced with grit. "You even made me use this ability. I was planning to use it against the Octa leader, but oh well, what's done is done."

With a flash of light, Michael activated his "rewind" ability, rewinding his body 30 minutes back in time. The pain vanished, his body restored to its previous state.

"So, you rewind your body, huh?" Trace chuckled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Impressive, but that won't change anything. I will only beat you up over and over again!"

"We'll see about that," Michael replied, his voice firm.

Trace, undeterred, once again shook the ground, but this time Michael was prepared. He teleported upwards, avoiding the attack. With a swift move, he teleported behind Trace, aiming a powerful punch. However, Trace had anticipated the move, creating a stone statue to replace his body.

"That was a smart move," Michael acknowledged, "but I can read your moves too. Just surrender, you can't win."

"Sorry, but giving up is not my thing," Michael retorted, his eyes burning with determination.

"So be it," Trace said, his voice cold. "Die you must, that's your only fate."

The tension in the air was palpable, the clash between Michael and Trace reaching a fever pitch. The outcome of this battle hung in the balance, a testament to the strength and resolve of both warriors.

Trace then use his skill "rock storm" which created a whirlwind of rocks, but Michael easily countered it with slowing down time around him, he then used his instant teleportation to try to attack Trace but Trace dodge it again and appeared behind his back but Michael already predicted it and used "temporal accelaration" to change his direction and punch Trace multiple times, Michael's punch with the combination of his skill boost was able to punch Trace multiple times enough to take him down.

"it's over it's your defeat just surrender"

"HAHAHAHAHA, did you really think that was all my skills? fool it's time to unleash my Ultimate skill"

Trace finally uses his Ultimate skill called "Earth's embrace", When Trace activates Earth's Embrace, the ground beneath them rumbles and cracks, veins of glowing energy spreading across their body. Massive stone pillars rise from the earth, encircling the user in a swirling vortex of rocks and dust. Their eyes gleam with an otherworldly light as they command the very forces of nature to do their bidding.

" this is the end for you! "

"well what a terrifying skill, i guess it's my turn to show mine"

Michael them use his skill "quantom blitz" the skill allows him to teleport so fast and stopping time for 10 second, his skill was enough to intanstly get to Trace's location, He then grabbed Trace's head and use his skill "age accelaration" to make Trace so old,

"wha~what happend to me? what happend to my face why am i so old what did you do?"

Trace then died of old age, leaving Michael standing.

"i did it, i won but i feel like my body is out of energy but i don't think i can't fight anymore this fight drained all my energy i will leave it to you guys now"
