"What happened?"
his secretary Mia asked, her voice laced with concern as she took in the scene before her.
Noah glanced at his injured hand, his expression unreadable.
"Just a little accident," he muttered dismissively, his tone betraying none of the turmoil raging within him.
The doctor approached, his brow furrowing in concern as he assessed Noah's injury. This obviously doesn't look like an accident.
"Let's have a look," he said gently.
Once the doctor had finished, Noah's secretary hovered nearby, her eyes filled with unspoken questions.
"Is there anything else I can do?" she asked softly, her voice tinged with concern.
"No, that will be all,"
Noah replied curtly, his words a dismissal.
Mia was not surprised to see the condition of the room and Noah's state.
This was not the first time she had seen him like this, as she had been working with him since his struggling days from the beginning, and was well aware of this side of his personality.
