Evergreen High School buzzed with excitement as preparations for the annual Spring Festival reached their peak. Colorful banners fluttered in the breeze, stalls were set up selling everything from handmade crafts to delicious treats, and students bustled around, eagerly anticipating a day of festivities and fun.

Liv Hayes stood near the entrance of the festival grounds, her eyes scanning the crowd for familiar faces.
