After taking Ruth aside briefly to talk to her outside the interview room, Elliot made sure his fast-spaced action did little to arouse attention from the other applicants who would have taken notice to what was happening inside the room if he had taken Ruth outside in a rush.
Eager to get back to the driver who was waiting for her at the car outside the company in front of the lobby along with her personal assistant, Ruth pulled Elliot back when he was about taking her a lot farther away from where the applicants were seated waiting for their turn at the hallway.
“Elliot, this distance is enough, they won’t hear us but you gotta be quick with whatever you have to say to me.” Ruth said glancing at her little wristwatch which she wore on her left wrist the very moment she stopped Elliot from taking her further away where the applicants sat watching them.
“Fine. I won’t keep you here as much as you want to leave.” Elliot said placing his hands akimbo.
