In Liam's room

I packed out with Rhoda's help. Grandma gave me the cold shoulder, so I left as quietly as possible. My bags were dropped off at my house unattended and left in my room.

"Thank you," I said gratefully.

Rhoda had been a huge help. "You're welcome," she responded sadly.

"I'll do everything in my power to bring you back here. I'm thinking of the best approach to use."

"Thank you for caring for me, she said.

It's no problem, dear. Get going. Don't keep Mr. Ray waiting."

"I'll go now." She hugged me.

"Mm. Take care" She left.

It was 6 pm when I received a text message from Lisa. 'My dorm is number 504,' the message read. 'Okay,' I texted back. I drank a lot, thinking about my life. I had to remind myself again and again that I wasn't in the wrong; they were.

I really commended myself for keeping my head above water. However, I was fading away. My meeting with the guy they hired to kill me was just a week away, and I had no plan in place.
