Ah … how should I explain this? Honestly, I don't want to seem arrogant, but this situation makes me look like I'm boasting. Now, Neville Donatien is truly keeping his distance and watching me warily with a sharp gaze.
"Calm down, Neville Donatien," I said, trying to ease the tension. "As I mentioned, I'm just a commoner who happened to be passing by. I have no ties with Nevaeh or anyone who is your enemy. I assure you, I'm not lying about this."
Despite my reassurance, Neville remained cautious and not easily convinced. He kept his distance and sighed deeply. "If you truly have no connection with them, why are you here? I don't believe you when you say it's a coincidence!"
"Sigh … even though I could deny all of that, I don't feel like doing so, so I'll admit it." I didn't want to complicate things further. "Honestly, I was just curious about the person who made Keres Nevaeh bring a large force just to capture him. Now my curiosity is satisfied, and you turned out to be quite interesting, Neville Donatien."
"Just tell me what you want!"
"It's quite simple." Without hesitation, I unleashed an intimidating aura to convince Neville. "Work with me to destroy this crazy world system! We have the power to do it."
Even while exuding a strong intimidating aura, I extended my hand for a handshake with Neville. However, as I expected, he didn't immediately accept my hand. Instead, he put both hands in his pockets and stood casually.
Neville sighed deeply again and said, "I know your power is great. But I feel that it won't be enough to change the already broken world system!"
"Of course, I'm aware of that. If I'm alone, it's impossible for me to do it. But if there's a team of strong individuals like you, the result might be different."
"Huh! I want to know where your high confidence comes from, Ars."
I smiled slightly and replied, "Where else besides your earlier fight."
"Alright, I understand .…" Even now, Neville still had no intention of shaking my hand. Instead of shaking hands, he looked up for a moment and said, "I don't really care about this world and what will happen next. But if you promise to help me eliminate the Nevaeh family, I'll help you. How about it?"
Slowly, I exhaled deeply while stopping the intimidating aura and retracting my extended hand. "Revenge, huh?" I smiled broadly. "If you really want it, I'll make sure they all crawl into hell with me!"
Neville glanced at me briefly. "Turns out you're much more rotten than I thought! But I like your lack of hypocrisy." Neville's hand slightly trembled. "Alright, it's a deal. I, Neville Donatien, will enter that hell with you!"
"I am Ars Salazar. Let's feast on blood in hell, Neville Donatien!"
"Just call me Neville, Ars!"

I have a question. What do two inexperienced young men do when stranded in the forest in the late afternoon?
The answer is obvious! What else would they think of besides eating whatever they can find? As someone who has been confined in a basement for years, I didn't know that hunting is extremely difficult, especially for amateurs like me who have just come out of the cave and Neville who lived in the city.
Ugh … I don't want to see what I'm going to eat. This is too disgusting, but my stomach can't hold out any longer. Damn it! As quickly as possible, I shoved the roasted snake into my mouth, chewed quickly, and swallowed it right away. I didn't want to know how it tasted; the important thing was I could eat in front of a small campfire in the wilderness.
"Tch! I thought you were going to take me to the city for a dinner party to welcome the new member," complained Neville, with tears streaming down his face as he ate the burnt roasted snake.
"I don't want to eat this creature either! But I don't want to die immediately by bringing a fugitive like you into the city!" I replied, having lost my appetite.
"Tch!" Despite his complaints, Neville kept eating the roasted snake in his hand.
I slowly stood up while letting out a short breath. Waving my hand, I walked away from the campfire. "Don't worry, I'll be back soon after my 'personal business' is done."
"Sigh … you just going to take a dump," Neville replied indifferently.
Ignoring Neville's comment, I walked into the dense trees standing close to each other. Glancing around briefly, I took a roundabout route, silently sneaking up and immediately grabbing a man dressed entirely in black. He couldn't make a sound as I covered his mouth with my left hand while holding both of his hands with my right hand.
The man who had been secretly spying on me and Neville began to tremble as his heartbeat grew faster. I hope he doesn't suddenly wet his pants.
"I don't know who you are, but you seem very interested in what my friend and I are doing," I whispered in his ear.
He struggled a bit, trying to say something. Unfortunately, I wasn't interested in hearing his words.
I pressed the man's mouth a little harder and whispered, "Honestly, I don't care and am not interested in what you have to say. But … deliver a message to your boss …," I paused for a moment, "tell Nevaeh …."
As soon as he heard that name, the man struggled more. But I deliberately let go of him, and he immediately kept his distance and remained alert. "What do you mean! I don't work for Nevaeh!"
"Yeah… you just said it." I didn't know what kind of smile was on my face. However, I was sure it wasn't a pleasant one. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you. But …."
Before I finished my sentence, the man was grabbed again for the second time. This time it wasn't me who did it, but Neville, who came out of nowhere and immediately restrained the man's movements. It seemed Neville wasn't as careless as I thought; he understood the hint I gave.
"Are you testing me, Ars!" Neville asked, raising his voice.
I raised an eyebrow. "Hm? What are you talking about?"
"What the hell are you doing?!" Neville immediately kicked the spy's "future."
After I answered, the spy suddenly wet his pants. Neville was truly unfortunate.
Ignoring what happened, I spoke to the man while he was still scared. "Calm down, I'll let you go." I lowered my voice again. "But you must promise to report that Neville Donatien has died in the forest after using a forbidden technique."
Without much time, the man nodded his head. Neville, who was already annoyed with the man, immediately released him.
The man immediately prostrated after being freed, replying, "Alright, sir. I will do anything because of your mercy."
"Yeah, you can go now."
Not wanting to waste much time, the man ran away, ignoring his wet pants.
"Do you really believe he will do what you told him, Ars?" Neville tilted his head, seemingly not understanding my action.
Not taking the question seriously, I quickly walked back to the small campfire. "Of course not." I paused for a moment, continuing, "But I guarantee tonight we won't sleep soundly."
"Damn. It seems you're digging a grave for us."
