The wind blew gently, scattering leaves in all directions within this forest. It has been about three weeks since Neville and I fought against Byron Nevaeh and my brother—Nick Salazar. I still clearly remember how Neville and I thought our journey was over before it even began, but fate had other plans. At that critical moment, Sunny Everdeen—an apprentice of Old Man Joe—came to save us. The bell sound I heard at that time turned out to be from the power of Sunny’s Beast Sphinx.

Smiling faintly, I slowly approached Sunny, whose long hair was blowing in the wind. I didn’t understand why she didn’t just leave us after saving us. Instead, she took care of us diligently until our wounds were fully healed. She truly is a kind person.

“Thank you for taking such good care of us, Sunny,” I said as I stood to the right of her.

“No problem,” Sunny replied, shaking her head. “Besides, I didn’t expect we’d meet so soon and in that condition, Ars.”

“That was really embarrassing for me….”
