I rushed forward, swinging my sword with all my might using my right hand. But King Valdis calmly leapt back, diving down and using a soldier as a foothold. He grabbed the soldier’s sword, then jumped toward me as I also descended from the rooftop.
Our swords clashed, creating a loud clang of metal. King Valdis’ eyes fixed sharply on me, blood dripping from a wound on his forehead. He was trying to intimidate me, but I radiated an aura just as strong as his.
“Ha!!!” King Valdis tried to pin me against the wall of a house with all the strength he had left.
“Ha!!!” I didn’t just hold my ground—I pushed back, forcing him away. I would never lose to him.
We were both thrown back, putting distance between us. I had to admit he was formidable and not to be underestimated, but I would never give up because of that.
“You savage king!” I quickly charged forward, swinging my sword from above with both hands.
