Samantha had been indoors all day, as a result of Joey's behavior. She had switched off her phone, as she needed some time to think things through. 


"I do need a man who can cater to my needs, and that's exactly what Joey is doing. He does a really good job at that, and I can't afford to mess things up," Samantha reasoned, feeling she had no choice. 


She took her phone and turned it on. She scrolled down a bit in search of Joey's number and dialed it, just to apologize to him. 


"Hey, I'll call you back. Am in the middle of something,," Joey said hastily ending the call. 


"In the middle of what exactly by this time of the day?" Samantha mumbled suspiciously, wondering what Joey was doing. 


"He might be with some lady. Who knows?" she shrugged. 


Hissing, she carelessly flung her phone on the bed. 


Shortly after, her phone buzzed. She picked up the phone and looked to see if it was Joey that had returned her call, but it was Emma.
