The ground trembled beneath the relentless march of the undead. The glowing eyes of thousands of zombies filled the horizon, their hollow gazes locked on the crumbling city. Above the din of groans and shuffling feet, the Titan's bellow echoed through the air, spurring the swarm forward like a relentless tide.

Captain Marcus Kane stood firm at the steps of the decrepit church, his shotgun leveled at the cloaked figure before him. Lila “Huntress” Navarro moved to his flank, her pistols trained on the glowing device at the altar. The figure’s skeletal grin widened as it raised a bony hand.

“You don’t understand,” it hissed, its voice a chilling echo. “This is evolution. The Hive connects them all. You fight a tide that cannot be stopped.”

“Let’s test that theory,” Marcus growled, pulling the trigger.
