Story 606: The Unstoppable Juggernaut

The air was thick with the stench of death and burning rubble as General Viktor ‘Bloodfang’ Kruger walked through the remnants of the bunker, his blood-soaked combat knife still dripping onto the cracked concrete. The last human stronghold in this region had fallen, and no resistance remained. He had crushed hope itself.

Kruger stopped before a steel-reinforced door, riddled with bullet holes but still standing. The dim green glow of a cracked security panel flickered weakly beside it. He stared at it for a moment before pressing his massive, gloved hand against the cold metal.

"You feel that?" Kruger muttered, his voice laced with amusement.

Behind him, Sergeant Darius 'Hellhound' Rook stepped forward, resting his shotgun on his shoulder. "Feel what, boss?"

Kruger smirked. "The fear."
