“Heather, Heather wake up.” I hear Remi’s voice near my ear, as she pats my head.
“Huh? Remi? Aren’t you supposed to be asleep what time is it?”
She sighs. “Its 11 PM now tell me about that guy! Come on, it will be like telling me a bedtime story.”
I chuckle half asleep.
“Nice try.” I turn around in my bed facing the wall then I feel her get on the bed and start jumping up and down.
“Ugh, Remi, really? You want to have this conversation right now?” I groan pulling the blanket over my head, but she just pulls it off.
“Yes... please?”
I take a deep breath and face her.
“Okay, I’ll tell you.”
She nods exited and sits next to me.
“His name is Hansel, but people call him Ace.”
“Ace as in the best card of the deck?”
I tilt my head at her question.
“Well yes, I haven’t really thought of it that way, but yeah, the Ace of spades. Anyhow, Ace is Clara’s twin brother, and I met him just after I ended things with Mitch.”
“And...?” Remi encouraged me to continue.
“And... I really like him. More than I’ve ever liked any man.”
She raises an eyebrow at me.
“You just like him? Hum...”
“Don’t push it Rem.” I tell her and she gives me a knowing look.
“The way you were kissing him... first of all, eww... second of all, It looked a lot like the kisses from romantic movies, the ones that they do after confessing their L.O.V.E.”
I shake my head at her.
“You’re pushing it Rem. Go to sleep will ya?”
“Okay, you will admit it eventually Heather, and when you do I would have already known.” She smiles mischievously before skipping out of my room.

At work, Clara and I are holding down a huge Great Dane dog, as he gets his nails clipped. But my mind is preoccupied with the thought of a certain handsome man, and what he may be doing right now.
“Hey what’s that look on your face? It’s like your mind traveled away while your body stayed here.” Clara said and I shake my head to try and focus on our work.
“Sorry just thinking.”
“About who? Does his name happen to begin with the letter H?”
I sigh, knowing I can’t deny any longer, she is Ace’s twin after all.
“Yeah something like that,” I admit blushing.
“You haven’t even told me what happened during your date with my brother. Was he well behaved?”
I nod and I see a few girls that work there now paying attention to our conversation. What is with these people?
“He took me to your grandfather’s orchard field.” As soon as I say these words her body goes still.
“Grandpa Jim?”
I nod and she sighs.
“Given all the history that place has, I’m sure he told you the truth about us?”
“Y...yes he did.”
She looks at me with a smile.
“Then you must have really stolen his heart because he has only ever brought Cameron and me to grandpa’s house, and you’re still crushing on him after what he told you?”
I wouldn’t call it crushing. I’m falling in love with him, but I’ll keep that to myself for now.
“Yeah I am.”
“Then he better not fuck things up with you or I’ll be very upset with him.”

Once I got home I started cooking for dad and Remi.
“dad could you give me a hand with this jar of salsa? I can’t get it open.”
He walks up to me with a smile on his face, one I haven’t seen in a while.
“You look different Heather, you’re almost glowing.” He comments as he opens the jar effortlessly and places it down.
“What are you hiding from me? Or better yet... who are you hiding from me?”
I can lie to my father from time to time, But I find it harder to lie to THE pastor Williams.
“His... his name is Hansel, he’s Clara’s brother, but that’s all I wish to speak about the subject dad.”
He nods.
“Well that’s better than nothing Heather. Thank you for trusting me. But you must know that if you want anything serious with this Hansel guy that you will need to introduce him to me sometime soon. Invite him for dinner sometime this month. I have to know him.”
“Okay, I will let him know.”
He clasps his hands together.
“Very well, now if you’ll excuse me, Heather, I need to head to the supermarket to buy more food.”
“Right now dad? But I just finished cooking.”
“I know, save me some food, for when I get back.”
I nod as he waves and walks out.
“Remi the food is done!” I yell up the stairs and she nearly flies out of her room.
“Finally, I’m starving.” She says as she sits at the table. I place food in front of her, and we eat in silence.
“Sooo...” she finally says after a while.
“I have this English homework I need Help with tomorrow.”
“Okay, I’ll help you tomorrow after work Remi.”
She nods in appreciation.
“Thanks, and thanks for dinner sis.”
“You’re welcome Rem.”
She heads towards her room and I head towards mine. I’m laying in bed when I suddenly get a call. I look at my phone and realize Ace is calling me. Crap, why am I so nervous? I answer the phone.
Heather: (Hello?)
Ace: (“Hello Cupcake. Please tell me anything to make my day better.“)
Heather: (“Why? did something happen?“)
Ace: (“I got into an argument with a client who wanted a whole bunch of tattoos in one day, and I told him I wouldn’t do it because he is diabetic, and he can only get a few small tattoos at a time, too much could be a danger for his health. Long story short I lost a client, and I’m upset.“)
Heather: (“It’s his loss Ace, I would love for you to be my tattoo artist.“)
Ace: (“Wait... really? You would get a tattoo?“)
Heather: (“Well no, I didn’t necessarily mean that it’s just...“)
Ace: (“Come on, live a little. If you want a tattoo I’ll give you one free of charge. In fact, you will never have to pay for any tattoo.“)
Heather: (“Well, I have thought of it before but what if I can’t handle the pain? Also it would have to be somewhere hidden, so dad doesn’t see it.“)
Ace: (“I know you can handle it, and as far as keeping it hidden, I can think of a few places for you.“)
I roll around in my bed, not being able to stay still while talking to him.
Ace: (“Tell me something Heather... what are you wearing?“)
I chuckle into the phone.
Heather: (“That’s so cliché Ace, but fine I’ll humor you. I’m wearing some comfy shorts with an oversized t-shirt. Nothing sexy.“) I cringe at the word since I never call myself that.
Ace: (“Not sexy? Are you kidding? You would look sexy dressed as a trashcan, and I can’t help but imagine the things I would do to you in those little shorts and t-shirt.“)
My heart goes frantic and my curiosity peaks.
Heather: (“Tell me, what would you do?“)
Ace: (“You’re killing me Cupcake. You really want to know?“)
Heather: (“Yes I do.“) I say sounding more turned on than I planned too.
Ace: (“First, I would have my hands all over your body as I kiss you senseless, make your toes curl, and hear those sexy little moans from you. I wouldn’t stop kissing you until you were begging me for more. Then I would slowly pull your shirt off, and smirk at you once I realized you weren’t wearing a bra, and how hard your nipples have gotten for me desperately wanting my teeth against them.“)
Oh my Goodness this is incredibly hot, but I need to be quiet so no one in the house hears us.
Heather: (“Humm. Ace. Don’t stop, keep talking.“)
He chuckles.
Ace: (“Good girl.“) At the sound of that I moan his name and he groans deeply before continuing.
Ace: (“I would tease those pretty nipples of yours with just the tip of my tongue, driving you wild. Then when you are withering with need, I’d... maybe I shouldn’t tell you the rest Cupcake.“)
I sigh.
Heather: (“No. Please tell me.“)
Ace: (“I’d pull your little shorts down along with your panties, having you completely naked in front of me, then I would take you to the bed, where I would feel how ready you are for me by sticking one finger inside of you. I would find out that you are incredibly tight and wet for me, so I would carefully add another finger, pumping inside of you slowly. Preparing you for the size of my cock.)
I try to stop my moans but they keep on coming. He is making me want to touch myself so badly.
Heather: (“Ace I need you. I need you to fill me up all the way.“)
Ace: (“Fucking hell. You’ll regret saying that to me. You may be the daughter of a pastor, and you can fool everyone else, but your ain’t fooling me.“)
Heather: (“I wouldn’t ever regret it. I need you Ace. In every freaking way.“)
Ace: (“Heather you have me at your mercy sweetheart. I’m all yours.“)
My chest swells with love and something else.
*knock knock knock.*
Heather: (“Uh, I have to go, I’ll text you tomorrow.“)
Ace: (“Okay Cupcake, don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.“)
Heather: (“I’m sure there isn’t anything you wouldn’t do Ace.“) I giggle and hang up.
“Heather open up please,” Remi begs on the other side of the door.
I open the door and she runs in and flies to my bed.
“What’s the matter Remi?” She looks around paranoid.
“There was a spider in my room and I tried to kill it but I missed it and it went under my bed! Can I sleep here tonight? Please?”
I nod.
“Okay fine but if you start farting those rancid farts of yours, your sleeping on the couch.”
She laughs adorably.
“My farts aren’t nearly as bad as yours Heather.”
I shake my head at her laughing and throw a blanket over her body, tucking her in.
“And no kicking,” I warn her with a look.
“No promises.”
