Fu Yan watched as Hirvan stood by the buffet, his brows knitted in concentration as he studied the various options: porridge, soups, and light meals. His frown deepened as he debated silently, seemingly unable to make up his mind.
"Is your stomach pain worsening?"
Fu Yan offered, his concern genuine.
"I can ask the staff to bring some medicine."
"Oh, it's not that serious."
Hirvan replied, his voice trailing off as he pondered which dish would be the most suitable. His mind raced with thoughts of Ren YuZe, what if the porridge was too salty or not warm enough? Ren YuZe was picky, especially when he wasn't feeling well. He preferred homemade food, mainly his cooking, which Hirvan couldn't prepare here. And none of the options came with the sour plum Ren YuZe liked as a side dish.
The idea of making a special request to the kitchen crossed his mind, but the thought of drawing more attention from Lu Hanbing made him hesitate.
