Soon, lying on the cold floor of his room, Diablo started to think about his first crush.
No. 25.
In the cave, everyone was referred to by a number instead of a name, and nobody knew the other person's real name.
Instead, the person themself was known only by their number.
No. 25 was the best in the cave. Diablo didn't think she was just the best in terms of talent; he also thought she was the best in how she carried herself among the other children.
On top of that, she was extremely smart and knew when to take advantage of opportunities.
Considering the actions and behaviors of the instructors, it was safe to say she had quite a background.
Diablo also didn't exclude the possibility that she might have a relative who was a high-ranking member of the demons in hell. He was sure it was one of the two.
Either she came to the Cave of Latent Demons to get stronger by her own choice, or she was forced by her family to come.
However, he was not distracted by the sudden childhood crush he had developed.
Although his heart was literally begging him to meet her, his mind was more logically thinking about several ways he could take revenge on her for her betrayal.
At one time, he even considered killing her as a future threat to his goal, but no matter how many times this thought emerged in his mind, his heart would stop it in the middle.
Therefore, Diablo could only do one thing: "ignore." Yes, now he had to ignore his body's hormones, which had developed a crush on No. 25.
But what if he ignored his mind and body and stopped himself from meeting No. 25? What was stopping No. 25 from coming to him?
After a full week of observation in the hospital, he was finally discharged.
He also got his new additional weight, given to him by the chief instructor as a form of punishment.
After the return of the weight on his body, Diablo felt very happy.
He continued to attend training in the morning and continued to perform the "Abyss Soul and Hell Body Technique" in the remaining time. Just like this, another week passed.
On one fateful day, after completing his training routine, Diablo sat on the cold ground to perform the "Abyss Soul and Hell Body Technique."
However, he was a little surprised when No. 25 came to visit him. Although he expected her arrival, since she had not visited him when he came to the cave, he thought she had given up on him. But today, she surprisingly came.
"What do you want?" Diablo asked in a cold tone, not like his inner self felt when he saw her. He really wanted to jump on her and kiss her hard. "Damn this teenage instinct," Diablo thought in his mind.
Diablo stared at No. 25 with a slightly cold look.
"You did it, didn't you?" she asked in amused tone
"What?"
At the mysterious words from No. 25, Diablo stared at her silently. Of course, the matter of No. 18 passed through Diablo's mind briefly. No. 18. Ugh. At the words of No. 25, Diablo clicked his tongue.
Was she watching? Diablo thought.

Today, during training in the cave as usual, although he didn't dare to visit No. 25 as that would cause him distraction, his eyes would often wander and land on No. 25 a few times during training.
Diablo was puzzled why No. 25 was coming into his view more frequently; it had never happened before.
But today, when his eyes wandered slightly and landed on No. 25, he noticed one of the boys, No. 18 specifically, continuously following her.
Diablo suddenly felt irritation and an itch on his body. He didn't know what was going on with him.
As he continued training, he felt really annoyed for no reason, and anger filled him up. And after No. 18 came in front of him, Diablo, under the excuse of a boy's talk, took him to a corner where no one came.
And you don't need to know, as the scene was very violent after that.
No. 18 had his two legs and two hands broken.
in the cave of latent demons as long as you are not caught by anyone, you can do anything except kill each other.
Even after the beating, if No. 18 reported to the instructor, they would not think much of it except a small child's fight. In hell, people die at every corner. Nobody cares if you have a leg or hand broken here.

"Why should I tell you even if I was? It's not like you're any different," Diablo spoke to No. 25, referring to her actions on the mountaintop during training. He also said this to refer to her talent, which she was hiding.
No. 25, despite being ranked so high, was actually hiding a vast amount of her talent and power. When Diablo pointed out that fact, No. 25's eyes widened with surprise.
"You knew?"
Diablo did not answer the question, and No. 25 smiled faintly.
"You're interesting.. hehe!"
As Diablo predicted, No. 25 was one of the descendants of the high-ranking members of hell. Thanks to this, her skills were already incredibly strong, making it hard to find an opponent among her peers.
Even the instructors couldn't underestimate her ability.
Ordinary children would not notice that No. 25 was hiding her power, which was normal. However, Diablo spoke of it as if it were an obvious fact right in front of her.
"It's because I have some pretty good eyes for that type of thing," Diablo spoke.
At the words of No. 25, Diablo replied brusquely.
It didn't matter to Diablo that she was hiding her power; what concerned him was her cleverness. Furthermore, stating the fact that she was hiding her power was an indirect threat. However, it seemed that the indirect threat from Diablo had gotten through to her.
She pressed her lips lightly with her fingertips.
"Well, then I guess I'll keep your secret for a while, by the way." It was a bit of a surprise that she did not just turn around and leave but rather wanted to leave some words for Diablo.
Diablo glared daggers at No. 25, preparing for any kind of counter-threats she might give.
"My name is Lilith. My last name is a secret. So it's just Lilith. What about you?" Diablo, clearing his throat, hinted to No. 25 to get lost.
He was really doing his best to control his body's urges, which were arousing continuously in his body. He really wanted her to leave; he didn't know how long he could control his body before jumping on her.
"My name is No. 24. That's all you need to know."
Boom—
At the end of the sentence, Diablo shut the door coldly on Lilith. Lilith kept her smile, though, even after getting the door shut on her, her eyes twinkling in half-crescents as if she had just found something incredibly interesting.
"He's so interesting... hehe... I guess I'll have to wait and see."
