The Headmaster Is Strong!

"So, your reason to be here is because the receptionist seems suspicious and said you're unable to be registered?" asked the headmaster, confirming Mark's claim.

Mark nodded in affirmation.

The headmaster's face was plain, but detailed, as if this wasn't regular business, but wasn't otherworldly. He sighed and pulled paper from a drawer in his desk.

With a snap from the headmaster, a powerful presence that Mark could detect with his senses had been indented.

<< Defensive Whirlpool >>

< Defensive Whirlpool is a Q7 ranked magic spell that divides an area from the world, so perception and memory of it are slightly wiped. From outside this spell's area, it seems that the area has vanished or been decimated. It uses weak illusionary magic to put false memories of a loud noise of warping magic or just pure noises of destruction that would naturally come out of the area before the area vanishes or is decimated. The illusionary magic cannot be easily broken, and the complexities of the seemingly simple magic must be fully overridden, or as always with magic, a powerful disturbance due to magical or physical pressure.

"From what I see, you are truly weak. As I see your determination, I have prepared a magical contract. It says you can have Y1 magi…"

Quickly, before the headmaster could finish his sentence, Mark spoke loudly.

"Can you remove curses!?" he asked.

The headmaster's expression turned to thoughtful.

After a moment, he answered.

"Even the weakest one is Q1, and that's my magical level. It would be very hard, but an average would be Rebirth… 10."

It was evident that there was something missing. There must have been a higher-up. He knew it, and if the headmasters knew, it was likely to be hidden either amongst the students or the archive, if this school had one.

"Well… besides that, I was thinking of becoming a student here. Do you guys have a archive?"

The headmaster's eyes became dim, as if that was not the right thing to inquire about..

"We have a library. And as a reward, the strongest students can roam into the library." said the headmaster in heavy suspicion of Mark.

"I see." said Mark.

That was true. He'd broken through the facade this school managed to put, the emotional and the physical part quite easily.

The headmaster quickly denounced the entrance of Mark due to his weakness.

"This school is professional. We're not bringing in newbies." said the headmaster.

"Either leave now or I can force you."

'Although he's strong, I'm almost positive he is centered around magical power.' thought Mark, his pride evident.

The headmaster, upon realizing his intentions quickly used a spell.

<< True Gravity >>

< True Gravity removes the natural sealing of magical and physical pressure. It works around Thomas's rule of Magical Pressure "– magic originates from your soul. Even if your mind is angry, it will only trigger physical pressure. As for your magical pressure – you must use a spell or known as a complex magical component to seek within your soul and anger it. Once angered, it will inflict a powerful force on a range depending on your magical power." >

Suddenly, a gravity was inflicted on Mark, making the ground beneath him crack. As for Mark, he was unyielding, however, every moment or so, he teetered on the edge of bursting into blood.

Mark quickly pulled out his Sai, which were in his pockets.

Quickly, he broke the chain easily due to the gravity that had been applied. In mere moments, with one Sai, he pierced the throat of the headmaster, blood trickling down his throat. Before the headmaster could do anything else, he used the second Sai, piercing him deep in his abdomen.

Mark pushed the second Sai upwards until it was at the same place as the first Sai, and he began to continuously penetrate the headmaster's body.

Surprisingly, the headmaster wasn't surprised – that is, before the long-lasting magic took place.

Within his mind, the humankind serving robotic presence rung, and said its words before stumbling back into serving beings with actual magical power.

"Long-lasting magic: Magical Irregularity." It said, in a robotic tone.

Soon, the gravity that was placed vanished, and not even one spell could be mustered by the headmaster, who finally made a shocked expression.

_____

< Iron Body >

< Iron Body is the multiplication of the strength magic naturally provides to its host. >

____

Because of the magical distortion, it only worked 50%, and both of the Sai were injected in him, so Mark willed another attack, but he was subject to a onslaught.

The headmaster punched him through the wall of his office, making Mark get in a defensive form, blocking. Even so, the headmaster was more than determined to kill him. If not for his physical weakness, the headmaster would have killed him seconds into the fight.

The headmaster put his vigor into the attacks, as he barraged Mark while he defended.

Finally, Mark had a opening, and the headmaster grabbed his head, throwing him to the ground. A cut opened on Mark's face, and he had to try his best now.

Mark moved quickly, and swung a quick jab.

His next move was precise…

He ran away from the academy at fast speeds, which was a problem for the fact the headmaster was nowhere near his speed.

The guards tried stopping him, but they were subject to quick heavy punches that sent them into deep comas.

Mark had gotten away, for now. Who knew the magic community were so evil? He hoped this world wasn't the same as others.

In the forest, he roamed. He would eventually come across a small cabin, and walk into it, thinking it was abandoned. The same face on that Bounty for the Final Judge stood before him. The man there was nothing short of scary, his smile a warning that Mark was about to need to get active.

As the man slowly walked, Mark simply kicked him, the powerful attack shooting him back onto the wall of the cabin that bent upon impact.

"Please don't ever try to do that ever again." Mark said, as The Final Judge waded out of consciousness.

When the man awakened, he was tied to a tree with Mark standing in front. The angry man tugged against the ropes, but with a powerful slap, all efforts stopped.

The man now recognized Mark's power, and stood down. If he was able to cast any spell, he'd be able to get out, but Mark had intercepted a spell he was about to use immediately.

Besides, Mark had two weapons in his hands that would pose a threat, according to the magical essence it possessed. This artifact would rank about in the Rebirth stages, so if Mark was as strong as the man thought he was, he'd be annihilated as if he was a ghost being exorcised.

Mark began to speak, and the man brought his head up to see Mark.

"Tell me this, what is your magical talent in for you to be such a high rank?" asked Mark.

The man resented speaking. After all, he was even robbed of all he had, including his grandfather's ashes, which they broke in front of him because he simply greeted them, so he remained quiet.

But the moment Mark's hand raised, he began speaking quietly.

"I can do Lightning Magic." he said in a raspy voice.

Looking beneath the black-haired man's dark brown eyes, you could see cuts. Beneath his chiseled chin, you could see wide scars spread across it.

He had been hurt, he was sure of that.

Finally, the man burst as Mark opened his defenses.

<< Zeus's Refusal >>

< A small burst of Lightning will release all confines placed, including illusions if they are not able to withstand the magic user's power. >

The confines broke, and Mark's fist flew towards the arrogant man, who was knocked out in a instant.

This time, Mark refused to take him captive, and pierced his chest deep before throwing the man out of his own home.

Mark searched to find a body of a old man burnt like it had been put in a toaster for too long. By the man's side was a photo of a child by him and a destroyed knife.

Mark's first thought was how the old man looked a lot younger, and had black smooth hair. The child however had blonde hair fading into black hair forwards. On the right side of the photo was a woman, who had blonde hair.

He supposed this was a family. Mark checked a little room supposed to be the bathroom that was set on the right corner of the cabin. In it was a woman's corpse that was normal. It seemed like the woman hadn't even died, but as he turned it, he saw what happened.

Her back was bare, and was blackened to the color of burnt chicken.

Lastly, behind the covers of the shower was the body of a bruised boy, who had been violently beaten with his fists.

This alone was proof of the destruction of magic users. If he had to, Mark would dedicate his life to killing them. For now, he'd just watch the society and keep judging.
