Chapter 13:Solara and Frostbane

As the dust settled from the battle, the dragon turned its gaze toward Natsu and Lucy. Its scales shimmered like the sun, radiating a warm, almost comforting light. Beside it, another dragon, with scales that glistened like ice, emerged from the shadows, its presence cooling the air around them.

The sun dragon spoke first, its voice deep and resonant. "I am Solara, the Sun Demon Dragon. Thank you, brave warriors, for freeing us."

The ice dragon followed, its voice smooth and calm. "And I am Frostbane, the Ice Demon Dragon. We owe you our gratitude."

Natsu grinned, his eyes wide with excitement. "No problem! We're always up for helping out dragons!"

Lucy, still catching her breath, stepped forward. "Do you know who these Dark Vortex people are? And what are they planning?"

Solara's expression darkened. "Their leader is not here. You must flee before he returns. He is powerful and ruthless."

Frostbane nodded in agreement. "Do not worry about us. We are from over 400 years ago. We are already dead, in a sense. Our spirits are tied to this place."

Natsu's eyes widened in surprise. "Four hundred years? That's incredible!"

Solara's gaze shifted to Natsu, and a flicker of recognition sparked in its eyes. "You... You carry the presence of Igneel, my old friend."

Natsu's heart skipped a beat. "You knew Igneel?"

"Indeed," Solara replied, a wistful look in its eyes. "He was a great dragon. I sense his spirit within you."

Lucy, sensing the urgency, turned to Frostbane. "Do you know if their leader is connected to the main branch of the Dark Vortex? We need to find out who's managing everything."

Frostbane's icy gaze met hers. "We do not know for certain. But they are undoubtedly part of a larger, more dangerous organization. You must be cautious."

Lucy nodded. "Don't worry. We're also after the Dark Vortex. We'll wait for their leader."

Before they could continue, a chilling laugh echoed through the chamber. The temperature dropped even further, and a figure clad in dark, flowing robes emerged from the shadows.

"Well, well," the figure said, a smirk playing on his lips. "It seems we have some uninvited guests."

Natsu's fists ignited with flames, and he stepped forward. "Who are you?"

The man chuckled, his eyes glinting with malice. "I am Yami, the leader of the Dark Vortex in Greythorn. And you, my friends, have made a grave mistake by coming here."

Lucy stood her ground, her resolve unwavering. "We're not afraid of you, Yami. We'll take you down and anyone else in our way."

Yami's smirk widened. "Brave words. Let's see if you can back them up."

The tension in the room was palpable, the air thick with anticipation. The battle against Yami and the Dark Vortex was about to begin, and Natsu, Lucy, and Happy knew they had to give it everything they had to survive.

Natsu exchanged a determined glance with Lucy. "Ready for this?"

Lucy nodded, her eyes fierce. "Always."

Happy fluttered beside them, his wings at the ready. "Aye, let's do this!"

With the dragons' encouragement and their own unbreakable resolve, they prepared to face Yami and the true darkness of the Dark Vortex.
