I Miss You

Rain's day was practically jam-packed with a mountain of documents and checks requiring her signature. On top of that, she and Clifford had to arrange several meetings outside the office to move forward with the human trials. They needed to personally visit cases on the island similar to her father's, seeking individuals who would be willing to participate in the testing.

They made calls to various locations and set up a tight schedule for their meetings. By the time she and Clifford checked into their hotel in the city, she was utterly spent. Thankfully, it was autumn, and the sun wasn't blazing down anymore, making their fieldwork a bit more tolerable with the cool breeze outside.
