A Surprise Visit

"You shouldn't visit me so often like this, Sanya," Crissa said worriedly, her tone filled with apprehension.

Sanya ignored her mother's concerns and focused on arranging the lunchboxes she had brought. "I cooked all your favorites," she said with a warm smile. "I put the other dishes in the fridge. You can ask the private nurse to reheat them for you later."

Crissa's expression remained tense. "Sanya, this is dangerous. If he finds out-"

"Stop worrying, Mom," Sanya interrupted gently, her smile unwavering. It felt incredible to finally have someone she could call "Mom" without hesitation. "Your son-in-law is a capable man, and he knows all about that man."
