Fool!

At this point, Ethan had already entered the Orion Industries building and was sitting in the CEO's office on the top level, with Gideon Boysen standing beside him suspiciously.

"Mr. Knight, do you have any instructions for me today?" Boysen inquired kindly.

Although Ethan was the chairman of Orion Industries, he delegated most of the company's operations to Boysen and only visited the office if there were severe matters. Gideon made all of the decisions on day-to-day operations.

Ethan remarked sullenly, "I remember telling you before that I don't want to see any Mason-owned businesses in Emerald Coast County. However, I've heard they've found some partners to establish a community in the county."

Boysen's heart fell as he heard Ethan's question concerning this topic, and he smiled helplessly and bitterly. "Mr. Knight, I provided orders on this topic, but Orion Industries is not the only corporation in Emerald Coast County. Although everyone is treating us with respect because of the Quinns... Orion Industries is not well-established in Emerald Coast County, and there are many things we can't control even if we want to! That is why Masons was able to get foothold here in Emarald Coast County."

Ethan went silent.

Indeed, as Boysen stated, the reason why families in Emerald Coast County were scrambling to collaborate with and sucking up to Orion Industries was not necessarily due to Orion Industries' influence. However, they intended to take advantage of the opportunity to work with Orion Industries to strengthen relations with the Quinns.

After all, Orion Industries relocated to Emerald Coast County not long ago. Its strength alone was insufficient to instill fear in everyone. That is a fair-point.

After learning of Orion Industries' refusal to cooperate with the Masons, several businesses and enterprises declined to work with the Masons to demonstrate their support for Orion Industries.

However, there were innumerable enterprises in Emerald Coast County, and some would undoubtedly agree to work with the Masons for the enormous profits promised. That alone they cannot control.

Furthermore, the Quinns had recently returned Orion Industries to Ethan, and they had taken several of the projects running smoothly, leaving Ethan's Orion Industries far weaker than previously. This is also why many people grew to dislike it.

"It appears that we are still too laid back. We need to accelerate our growth and reach a point where no one can underestimate us," Ethan stated with conviction, a keen gleam in his eyes.

Moreover, it would not be limited to Emerald Coast County. He planned to visit the Quinns in Washington, DC, and ensure they returned what they owed him and his mother.

Boysen's heart was whole of fire and fervor as he responded loudly, "Yes, Mr. Knight!"

An assistant knocked on the door and asked for orders from outside. "Mr. Boysen, two people claiming to be from the Mason family in Los Angeles would like to meet with you about something significant. "Do you want to see them?"

Boysen scowled when he learned it was the Mason family from Los Angeles. "No! Tell them to get lost quickly."

Ethan had just gotten irritated due to the Masons, and now they were here. Ethan will be in trouble if he believes he has something to do with the Masons.

But, after hearing what they said, Ethan abruptly interrupted, "No, tell them to come up."

Riley and Ferry soon arrived on the top level of Orion Industries and were led to the chairman's office.

Ferry was quite astonished. As far as he knew, Gideon Boysen, the general manager of Orion Industries, was the company's spokesperson. Except for a few firm insiders, people were still determining precisely who the chairman was. He was pretty mysterious.

The assistant led us directly to the chairman's office. Does this imply we'll be meeting the mysterious chairman? He wondered.

Ferry became immensely frantic and excited but also regretful and apprehensive.

Under normal circumstances, Ferry would be pleased to meet and get to know the person in charge of Orion Industries.

However, he was present with Riley today to apologize to the big shot Riley upset. At this point, he bumped into the chairman, making things awkward, and he reasoned that it would harm his first opinion of them. Things will not be promising this time.

Who would feel good about an outsider who upset their subordinate? What an unfavorable condition.

Ferry glowered at Riley, blaming him.

The assistant softly knocked on the door and said, "Mr. Knight, Mr. Boysen, the Masons are here."

"Let them in," Boysen answered quietly.

The assistant pulled open the door, inviting Ferry and Riley inside.

As they walked into the chairman's office, Ferry observed two persons sitting at the desk before him. One of them was a middle-aged man dressed in a suit standing to the side. He was Gideon Boysen, the general manager of Orion Industries, whom Ferry had seen before.

The other man sitting near him in the vast, luxurious chair seemed familiar. This was...

Ferry was startled. He stared at Ethan for several seconds before realizing who he was! Oh no!

He was shocked. Even though Ferry had traveled the world and interacted with a wide range of individuals, giving him exceptional communication abilities, he was so taken aback that he became disoriented. He gaped at Ethan, speechless. This is the guy he underestimated not only once!

Ferry was not a fool, and he had been reared as an elite Mason family member, so he was highly knowledgeable. Boysen stood to the side when Ethan sat, and he knew the chairman was none other than Ethan!

Ethan turned out to be the mystery chairman of Orion Industries, which Ferry had never expected!

Ferry felt a cold shudder run down his spine as he remembered how he had previously gotten into multiple fights with Ethan and even attempted to plot against Anastasia. He came out in cold sweat.

When Riley noticed Ethan sitting at the desk, he reached out and pointed at him. "Ferry, I swear I spat with this slacker just now. I didn't upset any major figures!"

Smack!

Ferry slapped Riley hard again and said, "Fool!" His brother-in-law, Riley is such brainless person!
