Get Him!

I returned back to the human form and when he realized that someone was suddenly next to him. It was too late for him to use his power as I punched him as powerful as possible.

The impact sent him flying for a few meters and crashed onto a wall. Dust filled the area.

Simultaneously, Goo Han and Hakku arrived at the scene.

Hakku came to Miem and changed a rock into an apple. Miem ate it and her wounds recovered at a visible rate.

"Thank you."

"Thank Sunny. Without him, we wouldn't find you." Hakku wanted me to get the spotlight. I ignored.

"Miem, can you still fight?"

"Yeah, of course." She walked towards me and bit her thumb, blood trickled out. She fished out a bone and shower it with her blood.

Upon contact, the bone emit a green glow. Decaying flesh and bones starts to regenerate, creating a decayed four legged creature. It had two heads. One was a goat with sharp horns and the other was a lion with glowing red eyes. Its front legs were that of an eagle and its back legs were hooves of a horse.

It let out a battle cry. Roar of a lion, shriek of a goat and hiss of a snake, to be precise. Its sound trembled the building.

I whistle, impressed by such an undead mythical creature.

"Can't we ask him to cooperate with us?" Goo Han suggested.

"I tried, but he refused." Miem shook her head.

"Why? Isn't his job to guard the black market so it runs normally? Now that it's ruined by a merchant group called Scarecrow, shouldn't he focus on handling them, than us?" Goo Han was rather bewildered.

"True, but what if this guy is actually part of Scarecrow?" Miem said.

"He is?" Hakku doubted, but simultaneously not rejecting the idea.

"What else is the reason?" Miem responded.

"Moose, is it true you're part of Scarecrow?" I asked.

Moose got up and he snapped his neck to the left and right. We could hear his bones cracking.

"I'm not interested in such an outdated group."

"Then why did you fight her instead of doing your job?" I frowned slightly.

"Why are you guys here? If you want to steal something from the vault, then that would make you my enemy."

"We aren't thieves. We made a deal with Rinesse. You can confirm that." I told a blatant lie. I didn't know if Vie actually succeeded, but even if he didn't, there was no way for Moose to confirm it.

The fact that Vie hadn't said anything through the watch meant he's in a desperate situation. However, knowing how powerful he is, which I hate to admit, he should be able to protect Rinesse. Whether the deal is successful or not, that'd be for another story.

"Do you have any proof?" Asked Moose suspiciously.

This guy is a pain in the ass, I thought to myself.

"Can't you call her?"

"I can't get through her. Something must've happened, so until she confirmed it personally, four of you are my enemy."

"You don't care about Scarecrow? They are probably, no, definitely want to steal something."

"I'm not alone."

There are Honors as powerful as him protecting the black market? I thought to myself.

"Moose, why don't you spit it now? Who's your friend and how many are there?"

"Make me." The corners of his mouth rose, showing a cunning smile.

"Goo Han!" I shouted and Puffy immediately appeared. I put him outside this entire time.

Goo Han ran towards Puffy and jumped at him. Mid air, his body turned into liquid and he became one with Puffy.

The phantom had a white and black armor with a power core in the middle. The sword also became sharper and powerful.

When Puffy and Goo Han were merging, Hakku found pebbles and changed them into raw salmon.

"Catch!" Hakku threw them. I and Miem caught it and looked at it with look of uncertainty.

"Do we have to eat them?" Miem had disgust on her face.

"Don't you want to win? It's not like it'll give you any disease." Hakku responded.

"Yeah I know, but this is raw."

As they were conversing, I mustered my courage and ate the salmon whole. As an Honor, we have enhanced teeth and we could easily crush its bones, but that wasn't our main concern. The inner organs made the salmon taste terrible. We didn't have the time to remove them.

My cheek bulged a few times as the content in my stomach rose. I endured myself from puking. After a few seconds, I finally stopped.

Instantly, I felt my strength has increased.

"Are you guys done?" Moose take the time to wait. It was mysterious why he didn't attack us.

"Aren't you underestimating us?" I asked when I took a puff and covered the area, limiting his vision to three meters and his other senses.

"The Mist, huh? Fits your name perfectly. However, you met a bad match."

"If you're thinking about unleashing your plasma energy to disperse the mist, you should think twice."

Moose clapped his hand and a pink shockwave spread out in a radius. It washed over the mist and cleared the area. However, we were no longer in our position.

Soon, the mist creeped back, covering the area once more.

"See? I tried to warn you." My voice echoed.

"Don't get too cocky."

"I'm not?"

Moose felt something coming closer. He turned around and prepared for an attack, it never came. He didn't lower his guard, keeping vigilant.

However, his mind became disoriented for unknown reasons and that caused him to show openings.

From the thick mist, an undead creature pounced on him. Unfortunately, it didn't manage to break his plasma barrier, only cracks.

Following the creature's attack was a phantom in heavy armor. It slashed the barrier as powerful and fast as possible, that it broke the sound barrier.

A loud bang spread out and a shockwave caused the mist to disperse in an instant.

The barrier broke and the sword made contact with Moose. However, perhaps due to the enhanced body of an Honor, it failed to cut deep into his skin. Instead, he was sent flying to the sky.

The strength hidden in the slash was immense. Moose crashed on the wall but didn't stop. He flew out of the building with debris everywhere and dust.

He lost his flying momentum and crashed hard to the ground, causing the ground to cave in and dust filled the area. We didn't waste time and chased him.

"Is he dead?" Asked Miem, riding a dragon.

"No. Everyone, prepare yourself." I turned myself into mist. Hakku turned a nearby branch into a tentacle and gave it to us.

We ate it and held the urge to puke. Quickly, we felt our stamina recovered.

"That hurts, bastards." Moose walked out of the dust. His shirt was torn apart, and when a powerful wind passed by, the wind dragged it and left him shirtless, only pants remained.
