Kiyan tapped his fingers on the desk while the four of them waited.
"Jarett, sense them." He said and Jarett closed his eyes. He opened them immediately and looked left.
"A well contained surge of energy in the deepest halls at the end of the highest floor." Jarett answered.
"Of course." Raten sighed.
"Let's go."

"Since you've seen me this way and interrupted me, I'll have to kill you." Black hair said to Enoe. His eyes were still glowing orange and had the black rings of stars around them.
"You better do so, I don't forgive those who threaten to kill me. Believe me, you're not the first one." Enoe stood in front of Alba.
Enoe always was ready for a fight and was pretty confident in himself. But this time, he was worried. What he was feeling was otherworldly. It was nothing close to normal magic. There was something going on that he didn't understand and if he was left alone, the maniac might actually go through with killing him.
Enoe watched him carefully, not blinking for a moment. Taking his eyes off could very easily end things right there.
"Not taking the first step, are you scared?" Black hair took a step closer.
"It's called being cautious, fool. You're using a lot of energy I do not understand, of course I'm not going to run in head first. I'm not stupid." Enoe replied.
"Just so you know, keeping your distance makes it easy for me." Black hair said and moved hands. Placing one palm open over the other as a flow of energy began to gather between both arms.
An orange hue formed a ball and he shot it at Enoe who raised a wall of fire followed by an invisible aid. Mana block.
The condensing of supernatural energy around a particular area or even one's self to serve as a shield.
The ball of orange energy went through both walls as if they were nothing and went straight for Enoe who sort of predicted that. He lifted Alba and moved out of harm's way.
The orange ball collided with a wall and melted it like lava.
Black hair didn't stop there and kept sending more at both of them. Enoe did his best to avoid them while protecting Alba.
"Hey, if you took those chains off, can you do this strange colour magic too? A little help will be appreciated." He panted watching the room that now had fire bits all over as well as melted wood.
Alba still wasn't able to move. She was basically a sitting duck.
"You could have just let me carry on with what I was doing." Black hair sent more orange balls at Enoe who responded with a fireball of his own.
Black hair sent it back and as Enoe tried to dodge and deflect two more attacks at him, he didn't see the one that came directly at his face.
"Not my beautiful face," He thought but the ball was caught by someone who looked very very amused.
"Now, isn't this nice?" Raten said, playing with the orange ball in his hand.
"Enoe did you really have to burn the place?" Kiyan fanned the air around his nose and then snapped his fingers, all the flames vanished.
"Was just trying not to get melted you know." Enoe replied.
Lecter muttered some incoherent words and the smoke vanished too.
"Oi piggy, you never told me you were useful!" Enoe looked at him amazed that he could do something.
"You the one who assumed I was useless and, WHAT KIND OF NICKNAME WAS THAT?!" Lecter was not happy being called piggy.
"Isn't it fitting?" Enoe raised a brow.
Black hair watched the uninvited guests carefully, especially the one who was playing with the orange ball of energy in his hand.
"Wasn't I right, Raten?" Kiyan smiled.
"Indeed, you were. He wasn't worth approaching." Raten replied.
"I don't understand just how foolish someone can be." Kiyan placed his fingers on his chin as if in thought. He walked towards Black hair who didn't make a move.
"You do realize where you're standing and yet, you decide to put on a show. What if you were caught, hm? What if?" Kiyan bent forward and looked at the still glowing eyes of Black hair then he chuckled.
"I guess you already know what will happen." Kiyan moved back and Black hair's eyes returned to normal.
"Who are you?" He asked. Looking at them, he couldn't sense anything. No feeling at all to any one of the families and Raten definitely wasn't using anything other than normal magic yet he was toying with his power.
"What do you want?" Black hair asked.
"Nothing from you anymore." Kiyan answered. "Only here to give you a warning, Hades Horsfall."
Black hair was shocked they knew his name.
Ever since the twins saw him at the entrance exams, they began to watch him carefully. Keeping a close eye, sneaking into offices, checking student files and adding one for Alba, all in the space of two days, they gathered every necessary information they needed about him.
This was possible with Enoe's constant following them by a clone spell. Their doppelgangers did the work and relayed the information afterwards.
They also noticed he had been keeping a close eye on Alba and they wanted to find out what sort of plans he had in mind. This act just scratched him off the list.
Power indeed was necessary, but not when they both had hearts set elsewhere. Hades reeked of nothing but trouble.
Hades just looked at them nonplussed.
"Stay clear from her. I won't say this more than once."
"Since you're very knowledgeable, you know what she is then?" Hades said.
"As much as I know about what you are." Kiyan nodded. "Also enough to know you have her in binds, let her go."
"Else what?" Hades' eyes glowed again.
"Pfft." Kiyan held back a laugh.
"Darkmoon has a tight connection with The anchor, one uproar about your race and you'll be taken out of here in chains. That's if they're courteous enough to let you keep your head." Kiyan said.
"Reporting me is reporting her as well. You'd want to do that?" Enoe raised a brow.
"I have more tricks up my sleeve than you know, want to find out?" Kiyan tilted his head amused. He certainly was enjoying this.
Hades could tell Kiyan wasn't joking and he was at a disadvantage here. He wasn't even thinking of fighting them. He had already seen himself lose a thousand times and Kiyan wouldn't even lift a finger.
Whatever despair he made Enoe feel, he could now feel it a thousand times. Backing off was in his best interest.
The glow in his eyes left and Alba was freed.
"At least you're not completely stupid." Kiyan said and turned to leave.
Enoe helped Alba off the floor and took the gag off her.
"I don't want to have to warn you again, next time, we won't be so kind as to use just words." Kiyan said and Raten threw his ball of energy back at him. It got to his face and exploded into gold dust all over his face.
The twins left first with Alba, Enoe and Lecter following close behind. Jarett stood for a moment watching Hades before leaving as well.
Hades fell to his knees and stared at his hands.
"Worthless. Helpless. Hopeless. Weak." He mumbled and then made a fist. He bit on his lower lip and slammed both fists on the floor.
"Weak! Weak!" He kept banging his fists on the floor
*Phew..
A student whistled as he walked into the room. He was dark skinned and held a few books in his hands. His dirty brown hair was held back in weaves. He was Jarett's roommate, Simon.
He looked at Hades on the floor and smiled revealing his one cheek dimple and his slightly pointier canines looking like fangs.
"I don't know what's going on here, but let's be best friends!"
