Cemetery horror

## Introduction

★★★

In this novel, I will tell the story of people who had terrifying and inexplicable experiences. The novel will consist of only three chapters, and the responsibility lies with the storyteller. You are free to believe or not. Don't forget to comment and vote. Without further ado, let's begin.

Before we start, I would like to thank the author, Saeed Ahmed, for listening to my story and publishing it. I apologize for not mentioning my name for personal reasons; you can refer to me as A.

It all began when I was looking for a job and found a position at one of the ready-made garment printing factories.

I went for the interview, and it was simple. The questions were about my name, age, previous work experience, and so on. I handed over my ID card, they took down all the details, and I started the job.

The factory was very close to the cemetery. My workplace was in Al-Basateen. The job was simple: placing the fabric with printed designs in the heat press, then removing and arranging it. The working hours were from 8 AM to 5 PM, and sometimes we worked longer hours until 8 PM.

I worked with two colleagues and a factory supervisor. The first was an eighteen-year-old tall and fair-skinned young man named Mohamed Trezege. That was his real name; he liked this nickname. The other was a sixteen-year-old boy named Mohamed, who was short and dark-skinned and very kind.

We got to know each other, and it was a pleasant company. We exchanged jokes during work to avoid focusing on the clock.

Trezege smoked cigarettes and would drink hashish when he arrived in the morning. It didn't bother me; he could do whatever he wanted.

As for Mohamed, he always caused problems at work due to his stupidity and lack of understanding.

When we finished work, we would go to the road, and the other side was the cemetery. We would catch a ride and take each other home.

The issue started when we began working long hours and couldn't find transportation, so we had to walk. The road was long, with light poles only every few distances.

We talked, but I felt we were being watched.

I looked at them and said, "Don't you feel something strange?"

Trezege: "Strange how?"

I don't know. I feel like someone is watching us.

Trezege: "No, it's normal. We're walking near the cemetery at night, and that's usual because it's their time. Don't focus on it and let's talk about something else."

Fine, okay. "Since when have you been drinking that stuff?"

Trezege: "A while now. You know, the problems and all. I just burn it off and that's it."

But it's harming you and wasting your money.

He looked at me and said casually, "What can I do? Life's problems and stress, and it's the only thing that makes me not focus. Are you going to preach now?"

No, man, I'm not preaching or anything.

And Mohamed, all he did was listen.

After a while, I got used to walking late. The sight of the cemetery didn't scare me because I have faith in God, and I pray, so I wasn't afraid.

One day, we finished work late, around 9 PM.

This time we decided to take a shortcut.

Trezege: "What do you think, should we take a shortcut this time?"

Me: "Okay, how are we going to walk?"

Trezege: "Of course, through the cemetery. We'll reach the end of the street quickly."

Me: "Man, how are we going to walk at night?"

Trezege laughed and sarcastically said, "Are you that scared?"

Me: "No, and why should I be scared? Let's go."

Mohamed: "No, wait, guys. Let's just walk as we do every day."

The two of us refused, and we decided to go, and Mohamed came with us.

The usual cemetery atmosphere was dark in every corner, making it hard to see, and the sound of dogs was everywhere, creating a terrifying atmosphere.

Trezege came close to me and put his hand on my shoulder, whispering, "What do you think if we mess with Mohamed a bit and scare him?"

I agreed with him, and we started telling him about things that happen there, like the appearance of jinn and such. The signs of fear appeared on him, and he began to ask us to hurry out.

As we were walking, we found an open grave door. The three of us approached it, and when we got close, we pushed Mohamed inside and ran away quickly.

He ran out, screaming in fear, and passed us. We walked slowly until we found him standing in front of one of the graves, looking up. We approached him.

Me: "What's wrong? Did you see a ghost?" Trezege, see what's wrong with him.

I looked at him, but he was also looking up, completely shocked. Out of curiosity, I looked up and saw what terrified me.

A tall creature with claws, thick hair, and red eyes looking at us angrily. It made a growling sound like a dog.

I quickly grabbed the two of them and said, "Run quickly."

We all ran towards the exit, and this creature was chasing us on its feet and hands like an animal, with an unbearable growl.

I started hearing the growl of dogs everywhere, and they gathered to chase it as if they were a pack.

Every part of my body was trembling with fear. A dog got close to me and tried to bite me, but I avoided it.

As we approached the end of the road leading to the factories, I stumbled over a rock and fell to the ground, while my colleagues exited without me.

I heard the sound of dogs behind me. I wanted to stand up, but my body was paralyzed and trembling. I turned around to find the creature standing in front of me, approaching slowly.

I didn't know how to save myself, but I recited a prayer that I believe you know.

"I seek refuge in God the Great and His complete words, which neither the righteous nor the wicked surpass, from the evil of what descends from the sky and what ascends to it, and from the evil of what He created in the earth and what comes out of it, and from the trials of the night and day, and from the evil visitors of the night and day, except a visitor who brings good, O Merciful."

"In the name of God, we have entered the evening with God, from whom nothing is withheld, and with the glory of God, which is not sought in vain, and with the might of God, which is invincible. We seek refuge in all His beautiful names from demons, and from the evil of mankind and jinn, and from the evil of what manifests and what is hidden, and from the evil of what emerges at night and lies hidden during the day, and what emerges during the day and lies hidden at night, and from the evil of what He created and scattered, and from the evil of Iblis and his army, and from the evil of every creature whose forelock He holds. My Lord is on a straight path. I seek refuge in what Ibrahim, Musa, and Isa sought refuge from, and from the evil of what He created and scattered, and from the evil of Iblis and his army, and from the evil of what oppresses."

"O assembly of jinn, I implore you by the covenant that Solomon, son of David, took upon you, do not show yourselves to us and do not harm us. I adjure you by God and the Last Day not to appear to us and not to harm us."

The creature backed away, and all the dogs began to disappear as if they were ghosts. Then, the creature said in a frightening voice, "Do not return here again."

This was my only experience with jinn. I don't know if it was terrifying for you, but it was horrifying for me. I thank the author for sharing my story.
