Kay was relieved to confirm that she was without pain throughout her body and that she could now move it. However, she was unable to exit the cocoon at that time because the life energy entering through her body prevented her from moving too much, so she chose to lie down and relax.
After several hours of nonstop running, Quetzal and her scout squad finally discovered a village in the southern portion of the campament, where the scenery of a sea of trees was changed to numerous rocky mountains and the river with numerous waterfalls changed its typical bluish tone to one more greenish.
This village had no walls, and their houses were large and wide, appearing to be made entirely of stones and mud. Quetzal also noticed that the houses in this village had many claw marks on them, and some of them even had parts of their roofs missing.
While she was busy inspecting the houses, one of the scouts came closer to her.
