The Camp (2)

In another place, a group of people gathered, preparing to leave.

These were the villains.

Toga, with his characteristic enthusiasm, broke the silence:

"Hey, hey, Dabi, are we leaving already?"

Dabi, looking around with seriousness, calmly replied, "Not yet. We have to wait for the others and the monster."

Twice, with his usual double-talk, added in a playful and confused tone, "I don't care about them... Well, actually, I do. By the way, that guy who erases memories, do you trust him?"

"..." Dabi fell silent, his gaze fixed on the horizon as he contemplated the implications of Lett's abilities.

"Is it true how you erase memories? Let me see your blood, Lett," exclaimed Toga excitedly, leaning forward with interest.

Lett nodded serenely before beginning to explain his Quirk.

"It's simple, Himiko-san. My ability is called 'Memories' and it allows me to manipulate people's memories. I can selectively make someone lose their memories, both good and bad, leaving them practically like a blank page. But here's the catch: while I erase memories, everything else remains intact. Their personalities, likes, intelligence, and daily routines stay unchanged. Furthermore, I have the ability to implant new memories in their place, designed to benefit the person as needed."

Toga's eyes sparkled with fascination as she absorbed every word. "Can you show us how you do it?"

Lett frowned slightly before responding calmly and clearly.

"It's true, Himiko-san, but I don't usually demonstrate my Quirk so easily. Manipulating memories can be dangerous, both for the affected person and for ourselves. Also, I'm not sure if it's appropriate at this moment."

"But it sounds so useful... Couldn't we use it to our advantage?" Toga interjected eagerly, always enthusiastic about potential chaos.

Dabi finally broke his silence, his voice calm but filled with hidden intent. "Your abilities could be extremely useful for our future plans, Lett. I'm intrigued."

Lett nodded slowly, considering Dabi's words. "I might consider it, but we must be cautious. We can't risk more than necessary."

"Lett, you have a very interesting power and I think I just came up with a good idea," Dabi added as he thought about the plan.

"Really? What idea is that, Dabi?" Lett asked with interest.

Dabi looked thoughtful but determined. "Compress is heading this way and someone is pursuing him. He's strong, but I doubt he'd win against me in a direct confrontation. What I propose is for you to use your Quirk on him. You could manipulate his memories to make him believe he's one of us."

Lett frowned slightly, considering the possibilities. "That could work, but manipulating memories has its risks."

Toga, always enthusiastic about potential chaos, leaned forward. "Oh, that sounds so exciting! Can I help in any way, Dabi?"

Twice, more confused than ever, looked around at those present. "Are we planning something bad again? I don't understand..."

Dabi smiled cunningly, addressing the confused man in collaboration. "Don't worry, Twice. We're seeking a strategic advantage. The one who is searching for Compress is not our enemy at the moment, but a bigger opportunity in our favor."

Before they could continue, a nearby rumble interrupted them. Before them appeared Compress, visibly affected and injured from the confrontation. His suit was torn and disheveled, his hat missing, and burn marks on his clothes. And behind him was Todoroki, with a firm and angry expression.

"Todoroki Shoto, welcome," Dabi responded with a smile that barely hid his malevolence. "Your arrival only makes things more interesting."

Dabi's smile was like the calm before the storm, his penetrating gaze analyzing Todoroki with a mix of intrigue and calculated malice. Todoroki, on the other hand, maintained composure, though his eyes reflected a cold determination and growing displeasure toward the villains before him.

Compress, partially wounded, appeared confused but alert, while Lett, who had spoken earlier, observed with a calm demeanor that contrasted with Twice's palpable unease and Toga's excitement.

"Where are Bakugou and Tokoyami?" demanded Todoroki firmly, ignoring the distractions the villains were trying to sow.

Dabi stepped closer, his gaze fixed on the hero's. "That depends on our conversation. We have a proposal that could benefit us all."

Todoroki hardened his expression. "I'm not here to negotiate. Give them back now."

Tension was evident, permeating the atmosphere as both sides evaluated their options and considered the possible consequences of each move.

"It's a shame you're not willing to cooperate," said Dabi with a cold, cutting voice. Without warning, his hands lit up with an intense blue flame as he prepared to attack.

Suddenly, everything descended into chaos. The fire and ice clashed in a burst of energy, illuminating the area with bright flashes and filling the air with steam. Todoroki unleashed his power with determination, while Dabi responded with blue flames.

Toga, with her characteristic agility, threw knives accurately at Todoroki, trying to distract him amidst the chaos. Twice, confused but determined, used his clones with ribbons to try to bind Todoroki and limit his movements, seeking to create an advantage for his team.

Compress, despite his injuries, was slowly getting up, with the strength not to be out of the fight. His presence added another level of complexity to the chaotic confrontation, while Lett waited on the periphery, ready to act as soon as he received Dabi's signal.

Todoroki, trying to dodge all the attacks, found himself in difficulty.

Dabi mocked Todoroki, laughing as he watched the chaos unfold around him. "Is that all you've got, Todoroki? There are too many of us for you."

Todoroki gritted his teeth, concentrating his energy as he felt the pressure of the confrontation. "Damn it," he muttered under his breath. Spinning quickly, he unleashed his Quirk with intense force. "Flame Tornado!" he shouted, and a tornado of fire quickly formed, enveloping the area with devastating force.

The blazing fire spread rapidly, hitting everyone present with its fiery fury. Toga and Twice were pushed back, their plans momentarily thwarted by the powerful heat wave. Compress, barely recovering, was engulfed in flames, struggling to stay on his feet.

Toga, coughing and shaking smoke off her charred clothes, protested as she stood up. "Hey! That wasn't fair! You almost burned my hair!"

Twice, trying to untangle himself from the burned ribbons, muttered under his breath. "Why do we always end up with the fire?"

Compress, trying to maintain his composure despite burns on his suit, looked at Todoroki with resentment. "You could have been more considerate, you know? Not all of us are immune to fire like your friend over there."

However, as the flame spread, Dabi remained motionless, barely affected by Todoroki's attack. A mocking smile played on his lips as he observed his opponent.

"You still have much to learn, Shoto," said Dabi calmly, his voice resonating with confidence. "But that was a good attempt. Now it's my turn."

Dabi stepped forward with determination, the blue flames in his hands intensifying. "Flash Fires Jet Burn!" he yelled, releasing a controlled explosion of fire that headed straight towards Todoroki.

Todoroki, alert and prepared for the worst, quickly responded with an ice wall that blocked most of the impact. However, Dabi's attack was considerable, and the heat still seeped through the cracks, pushing Todoroki back from the impact.

As both launched themselves against each other, the battlefield seemed to vibrate with the intensity of their confrontation. Todoroki and Dabi exchanged blows and kicks with unmatched ferocity, each displaying their unique abilities with relentless tenacity.

The intense red fire punches and kicks of Todoroki met Dabi's dark blue flame punches and kicks, creating a spectacle of power and skill. Between them, Todoroki's ice grew colder, countering Dabi's fiery heat in a deadly dance of opposing elements.

The confrontation was so evenly matched that it seemed neither would lose. Both knew that something had to happen to decide the outcome of this epic battle. In a moment of intense synchronization, it happened: a resonant double punch made both stagger simultaneously.

The ground trembled slightly under the impact, and for a brief moment, everything fell silent as the two fighters evaluated their next move. Their ragged breaths and fixed gazes revealed the accumulated exhaustion from the fierce fight.

However, neither Todoroki nor Dabi showed signs of giving up.

Dabi, with a defiant smile on his face, broke the brief silence. "It seems you still haven't shown everything you can do, Shoto," he said teasingly, his gaze fixed on the diabolical gene still active.

Todoroki understood Dabi's remark. The diabolical gene he had inherited, manifested in his Quirk, was an intriguing and mysterious part of his ability. As he prepared for the next exchange, he decided to address the issue directly.

"Do you know that I have the Devil Gene?," Todoroki began, his voice firm but hopeful. "Do you know anything about it?"

Todoroki's words resonated through the tense atmosphere between them, a direct and straightforward question. His voice sounded determined as he sought answers about his mysterious powers, hoping for a clear explanation from Dabi.

Dabi saw Todoroki's reaction and noted his surprise but showed no signs of relenting in their confrontation. Instead, he continued with his harsh and straightforward response.

"I know enough," Dabi retorted, his voice dripping with disdain. "You're a Todoroki, that's what matters. A legacy of heroes and hypocrites."

Todoroki's expression hardened at Dabi's words, the mention of his family's complicated legacy striking a nerve. He had always grappled with the expectations and shadows cast by his father's legacy as the number two hero and the darker truths hidden beneath the surface.

"You think you know everything," Todoroki shot back, his voice tinged with frustration and determination. "But you don't know me."

Dabi's smirk widened, a mix of amusement and disdain in his eyes. "Maybe not," he replied coolly. "But I know enough to know you're in over your head."

The tension between them was palpable, the air thick with unspoken challenges and unresolved conflicts. Todoroki braced himself, his mind racing with strategies and possibilities. He couldn't afford to let his guard down, not against an opponent as cunning and ruthless as Dabi.

As they squared off once more, the battleground seemed to shrink around them, narrowing down to the clash of fire and ice, wills and ambitions. Each move was calculated, each strike aimed to gain the upper hand in this deadly dance of power and d

Meanwhile, amidst the chaos and confrontation, Compress struggled to regain his footing, his thoughts racing as he assessed the situation. His priority was clear: find an opening, a moment of vulnerability, to turn the tide in their

Toga, ever the wild card, moved with unpredictable agility, her eyes gleaming with excitement and mischief. She darted between the combatants, looking for an opportunity to tip the scales in their favor with her unique skills and abilities.

Twice, caught in the midst of the chaos, battled his inner turmoil as he struggled to keep up with the rapid pace of the confrontation. His clones moved with frantic determination, seeking to support their allies and create openings amidst the chaos.

As the battle raged on, each moment held the potential to shift the balance of power in this high-stakes confrontation. Todoroki and Dabi, locked in their fierce struggle, knew that the outcome would have far-reaching consequences for both heroes and villains alike.

Shoto once again activated his devil gene, unleashing an intense and powerful aura surrounding his figure. Flames showing in his eyes, he lunged towards Dabi, taking advantage of the strength and speed enhanced by his newly activated ability.

"Dabi!" 'Don't hold back this time!' his voice was filled with seriousness as he approached.

Dabi watched Todoroki shift to a mixture of caution and respect as he prepared to defend and counterattack.

He kept his eyes fixed on his rapidly approaching opponent. "Let's see what you're capable of, Shoto," Dabi replied calmly but expectantly.

The battlefield shook with the energy Todoroki released as he closed the distance to his opponent. Intense red fire and icy ice accompanied his advance, a combination of elements that marked his overwhelming presence in the battle.

As the battle between Shoto and Dabi reached its climax, the villains not only evaluated strategies, but also showed surprise at Shoto's unleashed power.

The clash of fire and ice continued to echo through the night, a testament to the strength and determination of those who dared to challenge fate and forge their own destinies in a world where heroes and villains walked a fine line between light and darkness.

Who would emerge victorious in this epic battle of wills and abilities? The answer lay shrouded in the smoke and shadows of the battlefield, waiting to be revealed with each decisive move and calculated risk taken by those who dared to defy expectations and shape their own destinies.

As the battle reaches its climax, the future of all those involved hangs in the balance, with the fate of heroes and villains alike resting on the outcome of this fateful confrontation.

"All that energy... It's incredible!" exclaimed Toga, his eyes sparkling with fascination as he watched Shoto unleash his devil gene.

Twice, normally fidgety, was momentarily flabbergasted. "Can you believe it, it looks like Shoto has more tricks up his sleeve than we thought!"

Compress, while trying to recover from his injuries, nodded earnestly. "That fire and ice ability combined with his fiendish gene.... It's formidable."

Even Lett, usually reserved, couldn't help but be surprised by Shoto's display of power. "I didn't expect to see something like this. It looks like this kid has more potential than we thought."

"Do you think Todoroki can really beat Dabi?" asked Toga, with a glint of concern in his eyes as he watched the confrontation from a distance.

Twice, nervous but intrigued, replied with his typical double-talk, "Well, it's hard to say. Shoto looks strong, but Dabi is not someone to underestimate."

Shoto with his gene activated, showed an impressive ability to combine fire and ice in ways that exceeded his opponents' expectations. Every move was fluid and powerful, to overcome any obstacle that came his way. Meanwhile, Dabi responded to the attack with a combination of strategy and tactical skill.

Although he was initially surprised by Shoto's powers, he kept his cool and found creative ways to counter the young hero's attacks. He was looking for an opportunity to defeat him. At that moment, Midoriya and Shoji arrived on the battlefield with the intention of supporting Todoroki.

Their appearance surprised Shoto, who was momentarily distracted when he heard their voices calling him.

Todoroki-kun!" said Midoriya in concern.

"We're here to back you up!", Shoji.

This brief distraction was enough for Dabi, always on the lookout for opportunities, to take advantage of the situation.

The fate of this epic battle between semi-heroes and villains was far from decided, but one thing was certain: each was willing to give their all for their ideals and for the future they were defending.
