Chapter 6 Hitting the wall

It was the peak dining time in the cafeteria. Groups of students were sitting around the table eating heartily. The female students behind the long screen were picking and choosing their food to eat sporadically in order to maintain their figure.

The old woman at the food window saw Mr. Song rushing over to the door, glanced at him, and nonchalantly cleaned the food residue in the wooden plate with a wooden spoon in her hand.

Song Yanjin went over, suppressed his anger and asked, "You are the one who bullied my girl?"

The old woman laughed sarcastically, "I'm so sorry, Master Song, the dishes are all ready."

Song Yanjin gritted his teeth and repeated, "You are the one who bullied my girl?"

The old woman was also angry, with her strong arms folded across her chest, "So what if it's me? You are worthy of eating the food in the academy, you shameless bitch, don't you know that Master Ge is the one who fucked you?"

Before she could finish her words, someone grabbed her hair and dragged her towards the kitchen behind her.

"Murder"

Before he could finish his words, his mouth was firmly covered.

The students who were eating were not paying attention to this side. When they heard the roar, they only saw the kitchen door and the woman serving the food kicking her feet.

The dull students lowered their heads and continued to eat. The canteen was the only place in the academy where the lowest-level servants lived and conflicts of varying sizes often occurred. They were accustomed to it and apart from studying, no one wanted to meddle in other people's business.

The young apprentice who was washing the pot in the corner of the kitchen saw that something was wrong and ran out through the back door. The chefs were resting in the outer courtyard after cooking.

The empty kitchen made life convenient for Song Yanjin.

The sturdy old woman was thrown to the ground by a shoulder attack, and she screamed in pain as her spine was hit.

Song Yanjin grabbed a kitchen knife and put it on the woman's neck, "I don't deserve to eat at the academy? You are so arrogant, woman."

The old woman twisted her body in panic, but she didn't dare move her neck. The closer the knife got to her neck, the liquid from her crotch flowed out uncontrollably.

Phew~ Bai Zhu laughed out loud, he is so easily frightened, where did his arrogance just now go?

"If you dare to kill me, Master Ge will not forgive you."

The old woman glared fiercely at Song Yanjin who was holding a knife.

It turned out to be Master Ge's men. Song Yanjin sneered, "Master Ge's life is still in my hands. He needs to take an antidote every half a month. I think you also need poison to suppress your arrogance."

The back of the knife in her hand rubbed against the fat neck. The old woman was so scared that she burst into tears. "That stupid guy, he lost his own life and implicated me."

Crying like a tearful person, the old woman finally compromised, "Master Song, I will never treat you harshly again. I don't want to die, and I have an eighty-year-old mother to support at home."

The ignorant and foolish woman was bewitched and became an accomplice of the evildoer. Now she was afraid. Song Yanjin slapped her face with the knife in his hand. "I will remember the vengeance against Bai Zhu for insulting me in front of all the students today. Next time..."

The kitchen knife chopped on the chopping board, "Chop it up and feed it to the dog!"

The old woman no longer posed a threat and shrank under the cutting board, holding her head with trembling hands and nodding repeatedly.

There were a few dishes on the stove, which should be the food left by the chefs themselves. Bai Zhu opened the food box in her hand, took out a plate and put a small amount of each on it, then followed the young lady out.

At the kitchen exhaust vent, heads disappeared one by one as the two little girls' backs disappeared.

"Master, Master Song is so domineering!"

The skinny apprentice followed his master's footsteps, full of admiration.

The old master took a few puffs of his pipe and said, "That woman has brought this upon herself. She relied on her relationship with Master Ge to show off her power every day, but today she has finally hit a wall."

"Alas~ Old Yu, Master Song has no one to back her up now. Aren't you afraid of Master Ge's revenge by acting this way?" The wok chef beside her couldn't help but worry about the little girl. After all, he was trying to get rid of a nuisance for the cafeteria.

Old Yu blew out a perfect smoke ring from his mouth, shaped like a lotus, which showed that he was in a good mood at the moment. "Hey~ Didn't I hear that Master Ge was poisoned by Master Song?"

"Hahaha, I never thought that the academy bully would end up like this. Let's go, we have to drink some rice wine tonight to celebrate."

The cooks all went into the kitchen together. Although they were happy, the most important thing now was to ask Mrs. Zhou to clean up the urine quickly. It was not right for them to urinate in such an important place as the kitchen.

On the way back to the dormitory, Song Yanjin rubbed his sore wrist. The original owner's body was still a little thin, and a shoulder throw was very strenuous for him. Morning and evening exercise had to be put on the agenda.

In her previous life, she grew up in an orphanage. The director made them run and practice simple Taekwondo moves since they were young, saying that the little girls should be able to protect themselves. After she started working, her pretty face always attracted many scoundrels to her. In her spare time, she signed up for a professional Taekwondo class and practiced for almost ten years. She could easily fight three people at once.

Bai Zhu, who was following behind, looked at the young lady's back with starry eyes. The young lady looked so majestic just now!

The next day, Song Yanjin taught the little kids to read and play games as usual.

Baizhu rushed back at noon, put the things she bought in town back in the dormitory, and then went to the kindergarten class.

After school, Baizhu took her lunch box to the cafeteria. The waitress didn't dare to make things difficult for her and even gave her an extra spoonful of meat.

After dinner, Song Yanjin ran in the yard. It was still very hot in the summer evening, and he was sweating profusely after two laps.

"Hahaha really?"

Under the eaves, Baizhu and the two maids Xiaocao and Huangya were eating melon seeds and chatting with laughter. They were talking about the latest interesting stories in the academy.

Xiaocao's mistress, Madam Yao Ji, was criticized by her students today, saying that her piano skills were not good enough. The female student sat down and played a piece of "High Mountains and Flowing Water", and Yao Ji was so angry that she ran away.

Just now a boy in the cafeteria expressed his feelings to a female student named Zhou Xueqi, but was rejected. The reason was: I don't like boys.

Bai Zhu was so shocked that the melon seeds fell to the ground. She pulled Huang Ya and said, "Why didn't I catch up with such a good event? How can such a talented woman like a man?"

Xiao Cao got angry and threw a melon seed at her, "The talented girl lied to him. She is so beautiful, how could she be interested in him?"

Oh oh oh~ Baizhu nodded blankly. Is this possible?

After dinner, I had some free time. From the windows of the next door and opposite dormitory, two female teachers were looking at the woman running in the yard with contempt. They were so idle.

The next day was a day off, and the teachers in the courtyard returned home early in the morning with their bags. Bai Zhu went to the small kitchen and found two small baskets.

Behind the academy is a hillside, which is covered with short grass in spring and is suitable for flying kites. If it is not a holiday, students will gather here in the evening to recite poems and compose couplets.

Song Yanjin and Bai Zhu each carried a small basket and bent over to pick the tips of the Artemisia selengensis, whose roots, stems and leaves were covered with silvery-white frost and had yellow flowers.

The sun was shining brightly in the sky. Before they knew it, their shadows were under their feet and the backpacks in their hands were full.

Back in the small kitchen of the courtyard, where the Artemisia selengensis was soaking in a basin, Song Yanjin scooped out the glutinous rice flour that Baizhu had bought yesterday, added some water and began to knead it.

Baizhu went to the canteen to bring back the food. After they had a simple meal, they started to light the stove and steam the Artemisia annua cake.

Uncle San loves to eat it. The original owner has made it many times. Now is the first time for her to make Artemisia annua cake after traveling through time. She follows the process according to memory. I hope it will be successful.
