In an instant, a glimmer of hope emerged in Thanos' heart. Originally, when Nebula saw the nightmare-like purple figure in the images received by the spacecraft, her instinctive reaction was to leave. But after careful observation, she found that Thanos seemed to have lost the power to sweep away everything. Out of resentment towards Thanos for so many years, Nebula still let the spaceship land.

The group of semi-mechanical mass-produced biological weapons behind her had already been completely controlled by her. Even when facing their former master, these beings would only follow Nebula's orders in their hearts.

"Nebula." Thanos still called out her name as he did before. Hearing the sound, Nebula's body instinctively began to tremble, but the next moment, she forcibly suppressed all the discomfort.

"Thanos!" A voice filled with infinite resentment emanated from the sky above Nebula. Without saying anything more, she raised her wrist and sent out a shock wave, which directly knocked Thanos away, slamming him into the ruins behind him.

Suddenly, a mouthful of blood spurted from Thanos' mouth. Seeing this, Nebula finally confirmed that the Thanos in front of her was no longer the dark tyrant he once was, but just a useless person who could be manipulated by her at will. In an instant, all the torture she had suffered came to her mind, Nebula's eyes turned red, and then she rushed forward, starting to punch and kick Thanos.

Thanos was hit so hard that he was completely unable to resist and could only barely raise his arms to block the attack. This one-sided beating lasted for nearly an hour, during which Nebula vented all the torture she had endured over the years. By this time, Thanos was already on the brink of death. However, there was a hint of relief in his eyes when he looked at Nebula, and that look deeply hurt her. She really wanted to launch an attack to blow Thanos' head off, but after raising her wrist, she couldn't bring herself to do it.

Thanos fell unconscious due to his severe injuries. During this period, Nebula looked at that disgusting face and wanted to end his life countless times. However, every time she raised her hand, Thanos's previous look would appear in her mind, making her unable to do it again. In the end, after a fierce psychological battle, she still failed to end Thanos and even gave him treatment.

When Thanos woke up again, he was not surprised at all to see his body bound. What truly surprised him was that Nebula didn't choose to kill him.

"How did you survive?" Seeing Thanos wake up, Nebula walked up to him and asked coldly.

"Survived? I don't know. In my last memory, I only remember that the red-haired woman used a move called Phoenix Judgment on me. Endless flames filled everything. I thought everything was over! However, when I woke up again, I found myself on Titan."

Thanos didn't seem to be angry at all about Nebula's earlier beating of him, answering her questions patiently.

"Weren't you defeated by the guy with the Infinity Stones?" Nebula felt as if she had discovered the blind spot of the matter. She had always thought that it was Luke, who possessed two Infinity Stones, who defeated Thanos, but now, after hearing what Thanos said, she found that things did not seem to be as she imagined.

"This universe is not as simple as we thought. I thought I would be the destiny of this universe. Even Odin's old lion could not withstand the ravages of time and eventually lost his claws. However, the appearance of those two people completely shattered all my assumptions."

Now thinking of the powerlessness he felt in front of Luke and Jean, Thanos couldn't help but question his ideal of being the destiny of the universe.

"Humph! Who would have thought that the once cold-blooded and ruthless cosmic tyrant would now be beaten to the point of losing his will? How ironic!" Nebula looked at Thanos' current appearance, feeling happy but also having mixed emotions. After all, in her mind, Thanos had always been a tough and ruthless figure, and killing and death shrouded every planet he landed on. But now, this "father" who once made her feel extremely desperate was so weak.

"Do you know why I'm here?" Nebula suddenly sneered and said to Thanos. Thanos was quite curious about this.

"Because a voice in my ear guided me here, wanting me to kill you with my own hands!" Nebula made no secret of the purpose of her visit.

"Then why don't you just kill me?"

"Look at that ugly mechanical thing on you. I personally ordered Ebony Maw to modify it for you. Compared to Gamora, you're such a disappointment! Whether it's wisdom, strength, or fighting skills, you can't compare to your sister in any way."

As for Nebula's current performance, Thanos, who was well-versed in human nature, had already roughly understood her psychology. So, at this moment, Thanos wanted to use words to provoke Nebula and verify his guess. Sure enough, when Nebula heard this, a violent emotion surged in her heart again.

She had always attributed part of the reason for her current state to Gamora. If it weren't for her, she would never have been treated like this. Now Thanos pointed this out nakedly; Nebula raised her wrist angrily, sending out a shockwave that flew past Thanos' head and hit the wall behind him hard. But Thanos didn't even blink at this.

"Weakness, this is the common weakness of you two sisters." Thanos continued his verbal destruction.

"That's enough, shut up."

"Thanos, you are my prisoner now. I will banish you to the edge of the universe and let you, the former overlord of the universe, fend for yourself in loneliness and despair."

It was true that Nebula couldn't kill Thanos because of some special emotion. Therefore, the best choice she could make was to exile him forever. In her opinion, with Thanos now in such a weak and powerless state, the only fate awaiting him was a lonely death.

Nebula took Thanos to the most remote galaxy, and after detecting the existence of a black hole, she felt that she had found a better place for his exile.

"Thanos, see that black hole? It's perfect for your grave."

In the end, Nebula sent Thanos onto a small aircraft, set the program, and released it. The aircraft headed straight toward the black hole. As Thanos looked at the black hole, he contemplated ending it there.

After seeing the spacecraft carrying Thanos being swallowed by the black hole, Nebula felt her heart suddenly relieved.

"It's all over at last!" After saying this silently to herself, Nebula led the fleet away. Now she was free!

After Thanos entered the black hole, he discovered that there was no destructive force tearing him apart, as he had imagined. It was dark and silent, with no visible light around.

After an unknown amount of time, Thanos discovered that he was not dead yet. Suddenly, he saw what appeared to be light appearing in front of him. He knew that he was inside a black hole, and the appearance of light was impossible. Just when he thought he was hallucinating,

A powerful force pulled the aircraft carrying Thanos into an unknown destination. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself in a vast, boundless space filled with light. Below, the walls were inlaid with countless stone statues, each depicting different figures. Despite their varying appearances, they all shared the same satisfied, almost dreamlike expressions, as if lost in a pleasant slumber. A mysterious and terrifying aura emanated from each of them.

"Where am I?" Thanos muttered, studying his surroundings with suspicion.

"Welcome to the Quarry of the Gods." Three old voices suddenly echoed in his ears.

In the next moment, three old women in black robes appeared before him, connected by a chain. They were the guardians of the quarry—known as the Infinite Witches. This was where the dead and forgotten gods of the universe lay at rest, their divine powers stored here. Over countless eons, many fortunate souls had sought to claim the supreme power left behind by these ancient gods. Yet none had passed the test, and they had all become statues lining the walls.

Even Thanos, with all his knowledge of the cosmos, had no memory or knowledge of such a place.

"The last Eternal Titan." One of the witches spoke, "Do you wish to uncover the legacy of the ancient gods from this quarry and be reborn?"

"As long as you pass the test of the Immortal Wall, you will be worthy to inherit the supreme divine power here and become a truly eternal god." Another witch added.

Thanos remained silent, contemplating their words. After a moment, he asked, "What is the test?"

"You must experience it for yourself!" The witch replied, her voice cryptic and evasive.

"Make your choice now." They continued, their voices devoid of emotion, "Leave, or jump into the mine and accept the test."

Thanos glanced at the countless statues of those who had failed before him, each one frozen in time, and made his decision. Without hesitation, he jumped into the abyss below.

As soon as he did, his body was pulled into the Immortal Wall, and the torrent of divine energy instantly turned him into a stone statue, just like those who came before him.

"Can he truly pass the test?" One witch asked.

"Destiny has been waiting for a long time." Another replied.

"Our chains are about to be broken." The third murmured, their cryptic conversation suggesting they had known of Thanos' arrival long before it occurred.
