Chapter 115: Resurrect Tobirama? Clan Leader Hitoshi and the Akatsuki’s White Tiger.

Konohagakure.

The argument in the Hokage office ended with Jiraiya being completely defeated.

At the same time…

In a narrow, dark room, as the image in the crystal ball faded, an eerie silence settled.

After a long time, Sarutobi Hiruzen lit a cigarette, looking at his old comrade, who was also silent.

"Look, this is the scene that should have belonged to us!"

Yes.

Jiraiya was never the same as old me.

Danzo slightly lowered his head, but his eyes gleamed with a strong sense of disdain for Jiraiya.

That line "You'll regret it!"

When it came out of Jiraiya's mouth, it sounded so unconfident, and the voice was too weak.

It didn't carry the power it once did!

If it were him, his words would have made Uchiha Fugaku, the Hokage, realize the truth!

But it was too late.

He had already lost the chance to say those words.

Now, holding onto his position within Konohagakure's high ranks was something he had paid dearly for in the past.

But…

As he touched the scroll in his arms, a glint of happiness flashed in Danzo's eyes.

It didn't matter. The Uchiha's brutal rule would eventually end, and he would become the great hero who saved the village!

Then, Tobirama would surely regret his past choices and would let him take the position of Hokage!

"So, Danzo, I think you should bring out the Edo Tensei technique. Let's discuss and study it together as Ninjutsu experts, for the sake of the village and to resist Uchiha's tyranny. Don't waste any more time!"

Even though Danzo was the only one in front of him, Sarutobi Hiruzen still used his moral authority, hoping to convince him to bring him along.

But unfortunately…

When you try to use moral authority on someone with no morals, you realize just how weak that approach really is.

For example, Danzo.

People like him, who always claim to be doing things for the village while seeking personal benefits and power, can't be expected to have any morals.

So, when Sarutobi spoke to him, Danzo didn't react at all. He even looked at Sarutobi with a disgusted expression.

"Sarutobi, you're no longer Hokage, stop trying to pull that act on me."

This time, the spotlight was entirely on him, Shimura Danzo.

He was the chosen one, the only one!

The scroll that detailed the principles, usage, and enhancement of the Edo Tenseiwas found by him, not Sarutobi!

"You need to remember, telling you this is my gift to you. If you perform well, when I fully understand the scroll, I might even consider making you a Hokage advisor."

After a pause, Danzo snorted coldly.

"But if you don't satisfy me, there's no reason why you have to be the Hokage advisor."

The story starts before Konohagakure began its reconstruction.

At that time, Danzo was working hard to secure funding for the village's rebuilding. After emptying the Shimura clan's resources, he planned to go outside the village and seek more sponsorships under Konohagakure's name.

Having been falsely accused of colluding with enemies by Sarutobi in the past, Danzo had fully awakened. He no longer wanted to stay in the shadows and let others enjoy the light!

Hard work should be noticed!

The idea of working quietly and unnoticed was foolish behavior.

He wanted everyone to see how hard he was working for Konohagakure, and then he would become the chosen one.

To be honest, when he first saw the scroll fall from the sky, he thought someone was setting a trap for him and thought he was doomed.

But he never expected that the heavens would send him a gift powerful enough to turn things around!

The Edo Tensei!

If it were just the Edo Tensei technique, Danzo wouldn't be this excited, thinking he was the chosen one.

In fact, this technique had always been recorded in the Forbidden Scroll, kept by past Hokages. Danzo, being at a high enough rank, had seen it before, so the regular Edo Tensei wouldn't have caught his interest.

What made this scroll special was that it recorded the advanced techniques of the Edo Tensei!

It detailed how to enhance the sacrifices, strengthen the revived person's combat abilities, erase the will of the dead and control them, and how to maximize the combat power of the deceased. All of these were clearly explained.

This opened a whole new world for Danzo!

You see, the Edo Tensei created by Tobirama-sensei could only bring back about one-fifth of the deceased's combat ability. Most of the time, it was used with Explosive Tags to take out enemies in a mutually destructive way.

But this scroll was different. If it could be proven true...

Excited and in a frenzy, Danzo began his research.

But reality was cruel.

After many attempts, he discovered that the scroll was indeed real, and the writing on it had a familiar feel to it, similar to the way Orochimaru recorded his research on other ninjutsu techniques. The authenticity was very high.

The problem was, Danzo's talent in ninjutsu was only average. Even with the basic Reincarnation of the Impure World, he couldn't control it, let alone the advanced version.

The materials were ready, and he had successfully summoned many times, but something was always missing. Each time the Second Hokage was revived, he only had time to ask if Danzo was insane before his soul returned to the afterlife.

This was really awkward. The deceased Senju Tobirama was also awkward, as he didn't have time to teach Danzo how to perform the technique properly. Now, Danzo's daily routine was trying to revive Tobirama, only for the displeased Tobirama to give him a cold look before returning to the afterlife.

It was just so embarrassing.

Finally, with no other options left, Danzo remembered his old comrade.

He was a master of ninjutsu.

But clearly, the cautious Danzo, when consulting with his old comrade, intentionally kept the forbidden technique, Edo Tensei, a secret. Instead, he broke down each step into smaller details, only asking about the small stuff.

However, he clearly underestimated Sarutobi's instincts about certain things.

It wasn't surprising for Sarutobi to be asked about Ninjutsu.

What was surprising was who was asking!

To his credit, it was Shimura Danzo, a man who never backed down. When had Danzo ever shown any weakness? Even asking about Ninjutsu? Danzo was the type who would never admit to being weaker than anyone, no matter what.

How could someone like him ask for help?

So Sarutobi switched to internal mode, quickly taking control of the situation, summarizing all of Danzo's recent questions. He also recalled the Edo Tensei mentioned in the sealing book.

Now, the two old friends were facing each other directly. Sarutobi kept trying to get Danzo to share the hidden, enhanced version of Edo Tensei.

But once Danzo realized the situation was exposed, he was determined to research it on his own, unwilling to let Sarutobi get involved. He made it clear to Sarutobi that this was something only he could lead, and if Sarutobi didn't agree, he would rather do nothing at all. His attitude made Sarutobi regret not just continuing with the baiting technique. Maybe he could've learned the enhanced Edo Tensei first.

"Honestly, I think it'd be better to revive the First Hokage rather than Tobirama-sensei. The First Hokage's strength definitely surpasses the Second's. If we could control the First Hokage..."

Ignoring Danzo's threat, Sarutobi spoke his mind.

"Do you think the First Hokage's temperament would be as straightforward as Tobirama-sensei's when dealing with the Uchiha?"

Danzo sneered.

"When it comes to the Uchiha, it has to be Tobirama-sensei!"

Reviving Tobirama-sensei would be the perfect fit!

"Well, hurry up and revive Tobirama-sensei then! The Hokage succession ceremony is coming up, and if we can't revive him before the ceremony, once the Uchiha completely solidify their position as Hokage, the village will be beyond saving!"

Sarutobi's face turned as red as a monkey's rear in frustration.

"If you can't do it, then let me! I can definitely understand what Orochimaru left behind with those □ and ○ symbols!"

Does he think I can't figure it out?

Orochimaru was once my subordinate!

Danzo, enraged, pointed at the door.

"Enough, Sarutobi! Get out! I'm the one who found the scroll!"

??

When familiar words echoed from the room, both Danzo and Sarutobi fell into a sudden silence, staring at each other.

After a long pause...

"Danzo! You'll regret this!"

Sarutobi snapped back to his senses and, feeling repeatedly insulted, left angrily after throwing out his final words.

The room returned to stillness.

What neither of them knew was that in the shadowy corner outside, Yuuhi Shinku was quickly jotting down notes:

"Unlike their usual quiet discussions, today Sarutobi and Danzo had a big argument. The Third Hokage left in anger, saying that Danzo would regret this. This scene feels strangely familiar, but it seems like it's reversed. Anyway, it's been a relatively calm day. End of report!"

The Sun God Kingdom was founded.

The Sun God Kingdom's leader declared that he would attend the Fifth Hokage succession ceremony.

This sudden announcement pushed the otherwise unnoticed succession ceremony into the spotlight, raising interest in Konohagakure and Fugaku, and bringing a surge of attention to rumors about them.

Apart from the two who were focused on reviving the Second Hokage and planning to use him against the Uchiha clan, other major nations and ninja villages in the Shinobi World were also busy.

Everyone knew that if the Sun God Kingdom managed to control all the smaller nations and secure its position in the Shinobi World, it would trigger a massive upheaval.

This means that the rule of the great nations is about to end, and a new era is arriving.

But everything depends on the Sun God Kingdom resisting the great nations' counterattacks. More and more people are watching and waiting.

Some are cheering for the Sun God Kingdom, while others are mocking it for being overly ambitious.

But none of this really matters to Hyuga Hitoshi himself. He never cares about other people's opinions, and their attitudes never affect him.

Sun God Kingdom.

Outside the newly built ruler's palace.

The priestess Miroku nervously adjusted Hyuga Hitoshi's collar, looking like a young wife bidding farewell to her husband.

"My lord, I see death."

Miroku, with a worried look, gently stroked her belly. The new life growing inside her didn't change the heavy aura of death surrounding Hyuga Hitoshi, though her unique pregnancy methods made Pakura envious.

"Don't worry, the one who will die will not be me."

Hyuga Hitoshi spoke calmly.

In fact, Miroku already knew this. The deathly aura was strong, but with her spiritual strength, she believed that if she endured, the future would be bright.

But as a woman, she still had some fear of death, and she was concerned about her husband.

"I understand, but please be careful."

The priestess gave Hyuga Hitoshi a hug, then bowed slightly in farewell. Perhaps it was due to local culture, but Miroku carried an old-fashioned sense of submission to men.

Of course, if things had gone according to the original path, she might not have behaved like this. But once a woman is conquered by a strong man, it's easy to understand her actions.

"You two really have a good relationship."

It wasn't a matter of life and death; it was just that Miroku had gotten used to having Hyuga Hitoshi nearby these past few days, and now she was a little unaccustomed to his absence.

Still, even so, when Hyuga Hitoshi called the woman, who claimed to be the White Tiger of Akatsuki, to leave, Miroku showed a complex emotion.

It wasn't because she had any doubts.

It was because the affection Miroku had accidentally shown was so genuine that it made Konan feel torn.

After all, there were just too many women who had close relationships with this man!

How does he make them all get along without jealousy?

Among them, there was even the female ninja who had a secret crush on Jiraiya-sensei, the former princess of the Land of Fire who had been removed by the new Land of Fire Daimyo, and Tsunade-hime, one of the legendary Sannin of Konohagakure!

She had witnessed that violent woman, as a child, punch Jiraiya-sensei so hard he spat blood.

"What's the matter? Do you want to join too?"

Hyuga Hitoshi jokingly grabbed the annoyed Uzumaki goddess, tying her to his waist.

"Hehe."

As expected, after the initial stage of unfamiliarity, Konan would respond with a dry "heh" in her usual serious manner.

Of course, if you looked closely, you could still see the slight redness on Konan's earlobes, betraying her feelings. So she quickly changed the subject, giving Hyuga Hitoshi a little reminder.

"By the way, are you sure you want to leave Sun God Kingdom at this time?"

The entire ninja world was watching the great nations' next moves, waiting for them to take action. Everyone knew that the Sun God Kingdom wouldn't be peaceful for long.

But the ruler of this Sun God Kingdom chose to leave the village at such a critical moment.

Konan really didn't understand what this guy was thinking.

"If I don't leave, how could they dare to act?"

Hyuga Hitoshi sneered. Since Konan was kindly warning him, he was willing to explain to this woman, who was actually very kind-hearted.

"Most likely, they are waiting for me to show up in Konohagakure, to attend the succession ceremony for the Fifth Hokage. Only then will they use special methods to contact their subordinates and make their move."

They fear my power!

"Do you know why I still have to leave? If you're short on manpower, our Akatsuki organization can help you!"

Konan said urgently, looking as if she cared more about whether the Sun God Kingdom could survive than Hyuga Hitoshi did.

Just like how they once failed to receive support from the Akatsuki, and Nagato had to watch Yahiko die right in front of him, she didn't want the Sun God Kingdom to be left isolated and helpless either.

"No need for that."

Hyuga Hitoshi shook his head.

"The fate is set, and the entire ninja world belongs to Ushiuma."

"No matter how strong one person is, there will always be areas they can't reach. The Hyuga clan has already gone through its transformation. We're no longer the Ushiuma clan that needed protection and safe passage during the retreat from Konohagakure."

"Who is the hunter and who is the prey? Just wait and see. They are waiting for me to leave, but I too am waiting for them to make a move."

He planned to use the entire ninja world's power to sharpen the Hyuga clan!

He wanted them to adapt to the Sun God Seal through real battles. He wanted the newly reborn Hyuga clan to make the entire ninja world tremble. He wanted to fulfill his original promise, so that when people encountered a Hyuga clan member alone, they would no longer think of stealing the Byakugan, but would instead feel intense fear and understand the meaning of the name "Hyuga."

This was the important process from breaking free of the Caged Bird seal to mastering the Sun God Seal, and the Hyuga clan's transformation.

"To face the challenge of the entire ninja world to sharpen the clan, it seems only you would dare to do such a thing."

Konan seemed to understand what Hyuga Hitoshi was aiming to do. She let out a bitter smile, her expression growing more complicated.

"Aren't you worried things might become uncontrollable?"

If things went that way, he would handle it personally. There was no shame in that—learning from past failures would only make the Hyuga stronger.

But as he said, the chance of failure in this war was extremely small for the Hyuga. He believed his actions, such as announcing his participation in the Fifth Hokage's succession ceremony, would attract the attention of the other villages' leaders, who would seize the opportunity to attack the Sun God Kingdom and use the outcome of the war to put Hyuga Hitoshi in a passive position.

For that, Hyuga Hitoshi planned to just smile, then have everyone watch a live broadcast using Orochimaru's newly developed "Dark Eye" second generation technique.

He planned to use this war

to make the Hyuga clan and the Sun God Kingdom truly legendary.

"I've made arrangements for the Sun God Kingdom, but as for you..."

Walking along the shaded path in the Sun God Kingdom, Hyuga Hitoshi glanced at Konan with suspicion.

He had planned to go to the Land of Water before the succession ceremony to take over Kirigakure Village, and also see if there were any talents there to recruit. He didn't expect Konan to follow him.

Originally, the plan was to take Tsunade and the others on a trip, just to relax and explore the ninja world.

But once they learned that the Land of Wind would be involved in the invasion of the Sun God Kingdom, they all united with a shared enemy, ready to help their good friend Hyuga vent his frustrations.

So, they were busy researching how non-Hyuga bloodlines could use the Sun God Seal to improve themselves and maximize the use of solar ninjutsu.

In addition, they showed great understanding, saying that since Hyuga Hitoshi would be leaving the Sun God Kingdom temporarily, as his women, they would protect the kingdom in his absence. They would set an example for the younger members, making sure the kingdom's people felt safe.

As for summoning Hyuga Hitoshi when they missed him, it was simple. They would use the Sun God Seal to call him, just like how the shrine maiden sister would ask for seeds. The summoning technique was incredibly convenient.

It seems like everyone is very busy.

So, Hyuga Hitoshi put his travel plans on hold and decided to take care of important matters first.

The succession ceremony for Fugaku is just a few days away, but according to the news from the senior ninja Ushiuma, it seems like the Kaguya clan can't hold out anymore and is planning a coup. So, Hitoshi is also on a mission—first, to take over Kirigakure Village, then install a Mizukage he can control.

At the same time, he plans to replace the current Daimyo of the Land of Water with someone more obedient and have him request help from the Sun God Kingdom to develop the sea area.

A perfect move to break the economic blockade and open up trade.

But, he has business in the Land of Water—so what's going on with Konan, who's traveling with him?

Hitoshi's eyes grew sharper as he glanced at Konan.

"Don't get the wrong idea, we're really just traveling together."

Konan nervously explained, then returned to her calm expression.

"Part of the reason is that I'm representing the Akatsuki organization to assess you, as the leader of the Sun God Kingdom."

"This is about whether the Akatsuki organization wants to deepen its relationship with your country."

Her words were blunt, and she spoke harshly.

Konan wore an expression that clearly said, "I'm not interested in you, I'm only traveling with you to understand you, so don't get the wrong idea."

In response, the Hyuga clan leader dismissed the idea of any playful attitude and hoped Konan wouldn't fool herself.

However, once his sharp gaze softened, he couldn't help but highly praise Konan's title.

The White Angel of Akatsuki, truly deserving of the name!

And,

That backless outfit with tight pants.

Her lips and belly button…

Hitoshi's eyes briefly flicked down, then he quickly pulled his gaze away.

As expected, everyone has two sides.

Konan, this ever-blooming flower, if she ever lets loose, might be even wilder than the stunning Hyuga Kura and the never-giving-up Tsunade-hime!

The heretic opened his Byakugan again.

At her waist,

Konan, who had long grown numb to this, tightened her clothes slightly.

She then gave the heretic a cold sneer.

She looked up and saw the woman who clearly wanted to be toyed with by the heretic, yet was pretending to be aloof and cold. Konan's face flashed with disdain.

Useless.

She really should learn from that priestess named Miroku.

When it comes to giving herself away, that woman does it best.

They said they'd act immediately, and they did!

Konan, who had been inexplicably glared at by the heretic's familiar, finally managed to calm down and frowned, following the person and the familiar.

It feels like I was just disrespected by his summoning beast?

No.

I am the cold White Angel of Akatsuki, the angel representing the gods!

In an instant, she collected her emotions and glared back, her counterattack clearly leaving the goddess of the moon surprised. She then snorted, raised her middle finger in contempt.

This was a move she learned from the heretic—according to him, it was a complete form of disrespect.

Besides that, she even opened her mouth and gave Konan a disdainful look, then spoke two words.

"Heh."
