Macy Point of View
"Oh right, I wasn't expecting visitors so all the doors are locked and," "Arthur! I need to pee!," she reminded him with a scowl and he moved aside.
"Shoot, right this way." He directed her towards his bathroom and when seh stepped in he stayed outside in courtsey.
"Are you going to be okay?" he asked mildly as she struggled with the buckle on her belt, it was hard to move since her arms were a bit sore from the burn.
"I need help," she admitted and he noticed her hands strugggling. "Don't just stand there, help me!" she seered through her teeth.
"Okay, oakyy, no need to be all hostile on me. Gosh." he unbuttoned her jeans and raised his head to reach her eyes asking for permission.
"Don't even think about it." He raised his hands in surrender and walked out leaving her alone. She struggled but managed to push down her jeans so that she could seat on the toilet.
She relaxed as she empty her bowels and when she was done washing her hands she stared at herself in the mirror. Her hair was messier than she expected, her face a bit flushed and her chest glittering with sweat. She would've loved to change out of her clothes but with her hands limited she wouldn't dare.
She stepped out intos Arthur's room but he wasn't there, instead she found a large black star trek tee on his bed with a note by the side. She read the note trying her best to hide her amusement.
She stared at the shirt and the large arm holes which makes it easier to wear but instead of wearing them she grabbed them and walked out of Arthur's room. She could hear him from downstairs speaking on he phone.
"No, i can't do that right now. It's out of the question and would make everything longer than it needs to be," Her face contoured in confusion as she thought about his words, her eyes glazed over his now covered back bu bare bisceps which had a band of tattoo around his arm, his hair was messy and his one was firm and tightt.
"Look, i'm not going to cross that line with her she hates me already," he turned and found her standing there. "This conversation is over." he said and ended the call.
"Is everything okay?" she found herself asking, he sighed and waved her over to the counter but she hesitated.
"Do you want Farn?" her eyes lit up at the name of her ice-cream, she nodded and he strolled down to the freezer wehre he grabbed two cups and handed her one.
"I didn't picture you like the guy who takes ice-cream, what happens to staying jacket?" she teased as she struggled to open the cup. He grabbed the cup away from her hand and opened it for her.
"A cup of ice-cream won't unjack me Love, you can still enjoy the view." She snorted but he winked at her. "You know you don't have to deny staring at me,"
"Oh, you wish,"
"Oh i know, i caught you red handed."
"Did not,"
"Did too,"
"Oh my God, i'm not going to argue with you like a child."
"So you admit that you were staring at me. I wont judge you." He teased but she had had enough, she licked the spoon slowly as she savored the taste of cream. When she opened her eyes, Arthur's face came into view. His intense gaze held her captive, something in his eyes made her adjust in her seat.
"You should take a picture it last longer,"
"Look at you being a major benefactor of a comeback, who would've thought that you would be enjoying ice-cream while punishing me."
"I'm punishing you? Thats new since you're enjoying watching me struggle."
"You have no idea love,"
"Can you stop calling me that?"
"Why? Does it bother you?" he pressed knowing he was crossing a line.
"Yes, especially when i hate you." she stated calmly but it didnt faze him instead it spiked his interest.
"Why do you hate me? I know that i may have done something bad but you can at least tell me why it hurt you so much."
"Are you serious right now? I trusted you more than i trusted anyone else yet you didn't think to share the same sentiment with me!" she snapped at him
"You're being as vague as ever, why won't you just straight up tell me what i did?"
"Because it shows that you dont pay attention at," she sneered "I don't pay attention? Last time i checked you avoided me so much like you wanted nothing to do with me. You made it clear where our friendship lied when you and that asshole started dating. You ignored all my calls and texts-"
"Thats enough, we're not having this conversation right now or ever again." he highlighted. " "The guest bed room is opened, you can stay there. Have a great night Macy."
She watched him disappear while being left to her thought, she rubbed her upper arm an sat on the chair. She dialled the first number she could always call an waited for it to ring but Angie's end went off to voicemail.
She curled her feet to her chin when she head footsteps coming in her direction. She didn't need to raise her head to see Arthur.
"Macy, i'm sorry." he said calmly. "I'm sorry that i was mean to you, you don't deserve it but you also need to be aware that it wasn't just one person that was hurt."
She never expected him to come back to her, he wanted to set things right, not with fights, he had seen what they do to people and relationships and he didn't want it to happen again with Macy. If it did, it was going to destroy his plan of having her on his side.
