Chapter 50 Giants

LV6 Eternal Hell

Following Gnar's foolish remark, the entire LV6 erupted in roaring laughter.

"Hahahahaha..."

"He he he he he..."

"A fool was imprisoned..."

It had been a long time since this place had been so lively.

Before this, there had only been the silence of death and despair. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the rare entertainment, laughing one after another. However, in several cages, some of the more discerning prisoners began to take notice of the commotion, their expressions growing curious.

In the massive cage where Gnar was held, San Juan Wolf, sitting like a mountain, lit up with interest after hearing Gnar's response. He spoke with enthusiasm:

"Really? Then I'll take you up on that offer!"

As he spoke, he reached out and grabbed for Gnar.

In front of San Juan Wolf's towering hundred-meter-high figure, Gnar seemed as insignificant as an insect.

"Boom..."

Although San Juan Wolf was shackled with enormous seastone cuffs that limited his power, even a casual strike caused the entire ground to tremble.

In the monitoring room on the top floor of Impel Down, the staff noticed the disturbance.

"What happened?"

"Where did that vibration come from?"

"Bring up the surveillance footage from the phone bug..."

As the screen changed, the Impel Down guards saw the source of the disturbance—a scene they were used to.

"So it's this monster?"

"Looks like someone's about to have a very unlucky day..."

"Don't worry about it; as long as these guys stay put..."

Back in the massive cage, when San Juan Wolf opened his mouth, he found he couldn't catch Gnar.

Gnar had jumped up and dodged to the side.

San Juan Wolf, looking dejected, said:

"Why? Didn't you promise to come in willingly?"

The pirates around watched in shock, wondering if this madman had finally lost his mind. Unexpectedly, this prisoner who had been in captivity for less than ten minutes said something even more astonishing.

"No, no, no. Open your mouth, and I'll go in by myself!"

"!!!"

Now, everyone in the cage sensed something was off.

After all, the pirates imprisoned here had all wreaked havoc on the seas, and few were fools.

Is this kid really insane?

But they kept their thoughts to themselves, watching with a mix of curiosity and anticipation.

"Really?"

San Juan Wolf opened his mouth eagerly.

"So, let me show you how lucky I am!"

Seeing this, Gnar grinned, jumped from the ground, and flew into San Juan Wolf's mouth.

"Boom..."

San Juan Wolf closed his mouth, even going so far as to use his hands to make sure his food wouldn't escape.

After a while, when no movement was detected from within his mouth, and the spectators realized that the kid seemed to have truly been swallowed, they grew bored.

Of course, some people still felt something was amiss, but with their own situations looking bleak, they paid little attention.

The entire LV6 fell back into a deathly silence, as if nothing had happened.

At this moment, Gnar, now inside San Juan Wolf's belly, let out a sigh of relief.

"I was wondering how to deal with the surveillance bugs in LV6, but I didn't expect the answer to come right to me."

That's why he said he was lucky!

Gnar, no longer worried about being watched, pulled a small key from his sleeve and easily unlocked his shackles.

In an instant, the power of the fruit returned to his body.

Thinking back to the painful blow from Zephyr and the Conqueror's Haki entanglement, Gnar recalled how every cell in his body had felt completely destroyed, and his fruit ability seemed to have failed at that moment.

Fortunately, Zephyr, being a Marine Admiral who refrained from killing, had ensured Gnar's body was treated by a doctor and that he was well-fed three meals a day. This allowed Gnar to fully recover his fruit ability after six days of rest.

If it weren't for the concern that Zephyr might sense something unusual, Gnar would have restored his body's abilities much sooner.

But that was no longer an issue...

As the seastone shackles fell away, crimson blood surged through Gnar's body. The blood-stained bandages scattered, and his visible injuries healed completely.

Gnar clenched his fists tightly, feeling the power in his body like a volcano ready to erupt, a satisfied smile spreading across his face.

Indeed, fighting was the fastest way to make progress.

Based on the evolution from his previous battle, Gnar felt his body had become significantly stronger.

This made him look forward even more to the growth that his time in Impel Down could bring.

With this in mind, he looked around.

He had never tasted the blood of giants before.

However, looking around, he didn't see the expected image of human tissue filled with mucous membranes and blood.

San Juan Wolf's belly was more like a cave covered with green moss, completely empty of blood.

There were only a few white skeletons scattered about, still wearing prison uniforms and shackles.

It seemed that the human body in the One Piece world defied the common sense of his past life.

That's right, just as those with Devil Fruit powers can transform their bodies into various substances.

Speaking of which, he still didn't know what his own body looked like!

But these details were no longer important. The giant race in this world was one of the most powerful!

Gnar couldn't wait to taste the blood of giants.

"Bat attack!"

Instantly, countless bloody bats flew out of Gnar's body and scattered throughout San Juan Wolf's interior.

After a while, he got the answer he sought.

As Gnar followed the guidance of these blood-red bats, he discovered a massive, pulsating blood-red heart deep inside San Juan Wolf's body.

"Bang bang bang..."

Gnar swore that such a huge heart could only be compared to those of the Sea Kings he had preyed upon.

As expected of LV6 Eternal Hell, the first prey was indeed impressive.

However, Gnar did not immediately drain San Juan Wolf's blood and kill him. He had a new plan...

As time passed, LV6 returned to its usual calm.

For these extremely dangerous criminals, there was no expectation of kindness from Impel Down's jailers.

Except for some individuals designated by the Marine and the World Government who were meant to stay alive, most pirates couldn't even get a decent meal. Consequently, these pirates tried to minimize energy-consuming activities to extend their survival.

On the second day after Gnar's imprisonment, a pitiful voice suddenly echoed in the previously quiet prison.

"Wait... bastard... San Juan Wolf, let me go..."

Unfortunately, the response came from a massive monster with eyes glowing scarlet from hunger and a gaping maw...
