Chapter 77 Moving Island

The Pirate Ship of the Nine Snakes Pirates

Under the warning of the female warrior, more and more female pirates began to notice it.

That's right, the island was indeed moving.

Though its speed was slow, such a massive moving island was still quite conspicuous in the calm waters of the Calm Belt.

After confirming this, the pirates of the Nine Snakes Pirates were all astonished.

Amazon Lily had resided in these waters for hundreds of years, and they were very familiar with the surrounding sea. Never had they heard of or seen an island that could move on its own.

"Sister, what should we do?"

A strange island appearing at their doorstep made Sandersonia, Hancock's second sister, instinctively seek her sister's opinion.

The third sister, Marigold, was much more direct.

"Shall we take a closer look?"

Although Hancock was now a renowned pirate with a bounty of 80 million Berries, her past experiences had left her feeling insecure.

At this moment, Hancock bit her thumb and frowned, indicating her unease.

Luckily, there was still an experienced pirate on board.

Granny New stepped up and gave an order.

"Everyone, be on alert. Sandersonia, Marigold, take some people and investigate. Be careful. If you find anything, report back immediately. Avoid any conflicts."

Sandersonia and Marigold exchanged glances. Seeing no objection from their sister, they nodded and took action.

A small boat, dragged by a small snake, carried ten female warriors as they approached the moving island.

As if sensing the approaching outsiders, the island stopped and floated on the sea under the uneasy gazes of the Nine Snakes pirates.

"This..."

Worried about her sisters, Hancock gave another order.

"Pull the boat over slowly!"

With anxious eyes, the Nine Snakes Pirates watched as the small boat docked on the island's shore. Sandersonia and Marigold signaled to each other, then led the warriors into the dense, primeval forest.

From a distance, the Nine Snakes Pirates' ship waited quietly on the sea, anticipating news from their companions. The tension was palpable.

Time seemed to stand still. Suddenly, countless frightened birds flew out of the dense forest, as if disturbed by something.

The women of Nine Snakes grew uneasy, their expressions solemn.

And then, as if to confirm their fears, familiar screams echoed from the forest.

"Ah!"

"Sandersonia, Marigold..."

Hancock's expression changed dramatically. Without hesitation, she leaped into the air, heading for the island. Granny New shouted orders.

"Pull the ship over and prepare for battle!"

Showing agility that belied her rickety figure, Granny New also stepped into the air, heading towards the strange island.

In terms of speed, she was not inferior to Hancock, perhaps even faster.

The two landed on the island simultaneously. But just as they were about to enter the forest, Hancock's two sisters and the ten female warriors fled in panic, their faces filled with fear.

"Elder sister!"

"Sandersonia, Marigold, are you alright?"

"What happened? What did you see?"

Hancock's sisters delivered shocking news.

"Sister, it's men!"

"There are a lot of men on the island!"

"???"

As if responding to Hancock and Granny New's doubts, countless noises emerged from the woods.

Both Hancock and Granny New sensed numerous powerful auras in the dense forest. Then, from the shadows, figures wearing prison uniforms emerged.

Some were big, some small; some tall, some thin. They were of all races, men and women alike. They wielded weapons and looked alert and confused as they walked out of the forest.

Recognizing the prison uniforms, Granny New suddenly shouted, cold sweat on her forehead.

"It's actually these guys!!!"

Hancock and the others instantly turned to Granny New, asking,

"Granny New, do you know these people?"

Granny New nodded heavily.

"Remember the newspaper I showed you three days ago?"

Hancock didn't react immediately.

Granny New continued.

"A week ago, the Impel Down jailbreak incident disgraced Marine and the World Government. Even now, Marine and the World Government have not found any trace of the escaped prisoners..."

"!!!"

Realizing the situation, Hancock and the Nine Snakes Pirates looked at the prisoners cautiously.

"You hid here..."

The Nine Snakes Pirates' ship quickly docked, and the female warriors armed themselves, ready to confront the Impel Down escapees.

The escapees, equally confused, murmured among themselves.

"Hey, isn't this the Calm Belt? Why are there pirates here?"

"Am I seeing things? Why are they all women?"

"That woman is so beautiful!"

"Idiot, is this the time to think about that?!"

"We can't let our location be exposed..."

"Yes, if Marine and the World Government find out, we're done for..."

"I don't want to go back to that hell. We went through so much to escape..."

The tension escalated. Weapons were raised, but neither side dared to make the first move.

"What do we do, sister?"

"Are we going to kill these men?"

Sandersonia and Marigold asked, unfazed by the Impel Down escapees.

Hancock gritted her teeth, ready to act. She would not tolerate such instability near her country.

But Granny New stopped her.

"Wait, Hancock. Calm down, don't act rashly!"

"Why, Granny New? These guys are no match for my sister!"

"Of course, but don't forget the young man behind them..."

Sandersonia and Marigold's expressions changed. They recalled the bounty poster that had shocked them: the name was Gnar, given by Marine as the Blood Emperor. His bounty was an incredible 1.45 billion Berries.

If that man was on the island, even Hancock might not stand a chance.

As if responding to their fears, more birds were startled in the dense forest. Crimson bats hovered above, slowly gathering. A man's figure descended from the sky...
