"Yes! You're my child, my blood My little prince.! My precious one" Maria says, her voice filled with emotion. The servants clapped, some wiping away tears, others crying with a slight smile playing on their face seeing such heartfelt moment.
While everyone was celebrating, Vivienne had a different smile on her face, a smile that held a new understanding, a relief and a satisfaction in it.
"Mother, I understand now..! why you called him our blood...even if that's a secret for now he sure will know soon! brother Void!" she whispered to herself.
Void runs his gaze around at the gathered family, feeling a warmth he never had in his past life. His heart swelled with a newfound sense of belonging and purpose there was new hope he was gathering a strength to fight the future battles the importance of people close to him.
"Thank you! ...Mother...!" Void said with his sweet tone, still in Maria's embrace. "Thank you for everything you did for me"
Maria kissed the top of his forehead , her heart was content, full of joy and relieved finally "No dear! thank you, my little prince! for being my son."
As the family settled down to start a new chapter in their lives, one filled with love, understanding, trust, hope, and acceptance. They had faced many trials up until now, but now, together they knew they could overcome anything.
Vivienne, too, began to see Void in a different light. Maybe, just maybe, they could build a bond that transcended their past misunderstandings and create a path for a future of unity and strength.
After dinner, Void retreated to his room. He turned his attention and gazed out of the window, the moonlight casting a gentle glow on his face.
"Though I knew all along that I'm not Mother Maria's own child, thanks to the nightmares from the trauma of my past self, I understand the feeling of guilt. In my previous life, I had lost my parents and couldn't even attend the funeral because of work and other stuff. But now, in this life, because of Mother Maria and for Mother Maria, I'll try my best to be the best son. Even if I'm not her own, I'll do everything in my hold to keep her smiling"
Void's little limbs struggled but managed to enjoy the view and the cold breeze passing through the window, giving a serene moment of reflection and resolution.
