Chapter 21. -What Have I Done?

A loud groan escaped my lips as I tossed and turned in bed. My head felt like a piñata, as if a bunch of children were gathered around it, whacking it over and over.

What had happened? I remembered waking up in the middle of the night to remove my dress; I had fallen asleep in it. But how did I get home? My head burned with swirling questions.

I tried to recall the happenings of the night, I remembered playing truth or dare, then I fell asleep on the couch. Yaskier probably brought me back home. I probably must have passed out in my dinner dress.

I tried closing my eyes, teetering on the edge of consciousness.Recalling memories was worsening my situation. I really needed to drag myself off this bed and take some painkillers. Suddenly, my phone's familiar ringtone echoed through my room, resonating painfully in my head. I groaned in annoyance, forcing my eyes open.
