Chapter 31- Utterly Captivated

"Do you like this color, Señor?" she asked, taking a step back to admire the suit piece.

My mind was far away, almost as if I wasn't present in the moment. All my attention and thoughts seemed to be fixed on one thing.

The booth across from me that housed the balm of my soul.

Her sweet voice floated through the air as she conversed with the lady I had specifically chosen to make her feel comfortable. I had used the excuse of booking a fitting session so I could bump into her by mistake.

"Do you not like this color, Señor?" she asked again, interpreting my silence as dissatisfaction. "I could change the color again."

"It's okay," I expressed, before walking into the changing room to remove the suit. I already had a custom-made outfit; I didn't need this one to be perfect.

"Pack it up and add it to the tab," I ordered, before heading toward the booth on the other side.
