Chapter 38 -Threatened not Stalked

Yavannah Constantine

"Stalked?" Yaskier yelled in surprise, lifting off from the bed in the process.

I mentally prepared myself for round two. It didn't matter what I explained; Yaskier was never going to let this go. I almost begged Adonis not to tell him, but I knew he would be hurt if I didn't, and I'd be a hypocrite for being upset at him a few days ago for hiding things from me.

"Hush," Sandro admonished, indicating towards the door. "We're in a hospital."

They surrounded me: Sandro in the chair Adonis had once occupied, Yaskier by my side on the bed. Adonis had left earlier, saying he had something important to handle and would be back before I knew it. He'd informed me earlier that he was going to speak to them about it. I tried to protest but thought against it. They had a right to know.
