Long chapter!!

Though Mika was eager to set sail immediately, his departure would have to wait.

One final, long-overdue task required his personal attention.

The forging of a True God Cloth.

It was a pact he had made with Hephaestus long ago. Before he took his final step into true divinity, they would forge this first God Cloth, accumulating the experience necessary for the masterpieces that would follow. Only when their techniques were fully matured would they forge Mika's own, ultimate armor.

That had been the plan.

And while Hephaestus never pressured him, Mika was not one to forget a promise. He had given his word, and he would not go back on it. He had no desire to be a man who broke his faith.

Besides, though he had abandoned his once-leisurely pace for a more aggressive path, his passions remained unchanged.

He still loved the art of forging.

The creation of a God Cloth was a project he had to be a part of.

"Think of it as one last tune-up before the final performance," Mika murmured to himself.

—————

Type-Moon World.

Mika stood in the silent vacuum of space, in a desolate world provided by the Counter Force, his gaze fixed on the colossal star before him.

The Sun.

It was a celestial body known as a star, the only one in this solar system, its gravitational heart. It was from the sun that the Earth received light and heat, saving all things from an existence of frigid, endless darkness. It was, without question, a source of life.

But that was merely its physical attribute.

In the realm of mysticism, the sun was one of the most supreme entities in existence. In any mythology, the God representing the sun was invariably one of the most powerful Gods in their pantheon. Therefore, the sun itself, imbued with countless concepts, was one of the finest materials for any arcane craft.

It was just that no one could ever use it.

Leaving aside the question of whether anyone even possessed the means to handle such a material, the consequences of simply taking the sun were something no mortal could bear.

Without it, humanity would surely perish.

It was a stroke of luck that Mika had come to the Type-Moon world, a place with infinite parallel universes. Otherwise, finding a world where humanity had already been wiped out—especially one still steeped in mysticism—would have been next to impossible. Only the sun of such a world, one that still contained countless arcane concepts, would serve as the perfect material.

"Is everything ready?"

His expression remained unchanged as he stared at the magnificent star, but his voice carried through the vacuum—a feat that defied science.

But science was not needed here.

Because the one Mika spoke to was a God.

"All preparations are complete."

As if walking on invisible steps, Hephaestus strode through space to stand beside Mika, her gaze also fixed on the sun.

"It's beautiful," she breathed, her voice a torrent of emotions—anticipation, excitement, sheer, unadulterated focus. "Such a rare material… this is the first time I've ever encountered anything like it. Just the thought of it makes my heart race!"

Without a doubt, the Goddess of the Forge was not calm.

To use a sun as a material was something Hephaestus had never dreamed of before. If she had, other Gods would have surely beaten the notion out of her.

Feeling her chaotic emotions, a slight smile touched Mika's lips.

"Don't get too worked up. Stick with me, and you'll find opportunities like this—and even rarer ones—are well within your reach."

"So, let go of your inhibitions and forge this God Cloth," Mika said with a light laugh, patting her on the shoulder.

His words steadied her.

"I understand. Rest assured, I will not disappoint you."

Hephaestus nodded seriously and then flew towards the sun. She needed to perform one final check to ensure everything was absolutely perfect.

"It seems Hephaestus is really fired up," Yahweh's voice suddenly sounded beside Mika, though it didn't startle him in the slightest.

"She's the Goddess of the Forge, after all. A forging project so grand that even a smith God couldn't refuse—of course she's excited."

"Weren't you just as excited when you received the legacy of the God of the Bible?" Mika chuckled, turning to look at Yahweh's face.

He had hoped to see her blush.

But alas, her expression showed none of the shyness he was looking for.

"Don't even think about it. A little teasing like that won't get that kind of reaction from me," Yahweh said, turning her head away in feigned annoyance, refusing to let him see her face.

Her posture only deepened the smile on Mika's face.

Ah, so she is flustered after all.

Smiling to himself, Mika ceased his teasing and turned his gaze from the sun, looking around at the vast expanse of space.

Here in the void, besides Yahweh and Athena, were several other members of the grand Yahweh Familia alliance. Airmid, Mellie, Alise, Ryuu, Kaguya, and Tsubaki, to name a few.

They had all come from Orario to witness a new world.

Unfortunately, in this particular timeline, humanity had already gone extinct. But the civilizations they left behind still filled the visitors with awe. They had spent their time here engrossed in study, devouring the books of this other world. Mika was pleased with their scholarly attitude.

Before coming to this world, Mika had first returned to Orario.

As the lead smith for this project, Hephaestus's presence was non-negotiable. Upon his return, however, he had been swarmed by Alise and the others. The reason was simple: they had all broken through to LV.6, but Mika had yet to take them to see another world.

After their persistent pleading, Mika had no choice but to bring them along. And when Astraea learned of this, she too had wanted to come. In the end, Mika brought them all.

"It's good for them to broaden their horizons," Mika said with a grin.

Just then, Hephaestus's voice echoed through the void.

"The final check is complete. There are no issues. Everything is ready."

"Then let's begin!" Mika turned his gaze back to the heavens, his expression serious.

—————

A black universe, a black galaxy, and a black solar system.

An icy, desolate emptiness filled every corner of this dead world. In this endless darkness, no life could possibly survive.

But there were exceptions to every rule.

"So this is the final product?"

At the center of the solar system, where a colossal star once burned, several figures now gathered, their attention fixed on a faint light that stood in stark contrast to the surrounding void.

It was a suit of armor, wreathed in light and searing heat.

It was the ultimate goal of their journey.

A True God Cloth.

"So this is my God Cloth?"

Staring intently at the armor floating before him, Mika's face was filled with an irrepressible smile. Though he hadn't yet worn it, its form, its engravings, its very aesthetic—it satisfied him on every level.

He was completely in love with it.

"Well? Aren't you pleased with it?" Yahweh's face was also filled with a radiant smile.

She had personally designed the armor's appearance. Functionality aside, she had designed it specifically to match Mika's aesthetic sensibilities.

Yahweh knew him well.

For Mika, power is temporary, but style is eternal.

With his rapid rate of improvement, any divine weapon they forged for him now would be quickly outclassed. It was with this understanding that she had focused on the design.

Now, seeing the uncontainable joy on Mika's face, her own heart filled with delight. Over time, her relationship with Mika had transcended that of a Goddess and her child, or even that of family.

Their bond was now something that couldn't be described with mere words.

"I'm more than satisfied, Yahweh!"

Overcome with joy, Mika swept her into his arms and spun her around in the vacuum of space.

This sudden turn of events was not something Yahweh had anticipated. The abrupt motion sent a blush rushing to her cheeks, a shy expression instantly capturing her features.

Seeing this, Mika's grin widened even more.

And his reaction only made Yahweh even more flustered.

'What is wrong with me?' she thought, her heart pounding. 'I never used to be like this!'

After a moment of celebration, Mika gently placed her back down and drifted closer to the newly completed God Cloth.

Yahweh, meanwhile, stood watching his back, lost in her own thoughts.

'If this were in the past, how would I have felt?'

'Probably gratified? Like a mother sharing a happy moment with her child?'

'Yes, that must be it.'

'But when did that feeling change?'

She didn't know. Yahweh searched her memories but couldn't pinpoint a specific moment.

Ultimately, she came to a conclusion.

There was no single turning point.

There was only the gradual accumulation of countless small moments.

"It seems I've changed quite a bit myself..." Yahweh mused with a soft smile.

—————

"In essence, this God Cloth is similar in nature to its primary material—it's aligned with the traits of a Sun God," Hephaestus explained to Mika from the side.

"After all, while you possess many different attributes, Mika, your strongest are undoubtedly fire and light."

"Those two abilities are highly compatible with the nature of a Sun God. Therefore, by building this armor around that concept, we can maximize the boost to your combat power."

Even though Mika already knew the theory, hearing it explained again at this moment felt different, special.

"So, how much stronger will I be once I put it on?"

Hearing Mika's question, Hephaestus simply threw up her hands, indicating she had no idea.

"I guess I'll just have to try it and see."

After murmuring to himself, Mika turned his eager gaze upon the God Cloth.

He reached out his hand.

The moment his fingers touched the armor, the power within him began to stir violently. Following the will of his own magic, Mika poured his energy into the God Cloth. A golden flame of light slowly began to rise from its surface.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!"

The next moment, an infinite amount of light and heat erupted from the armor.

Like a supernova, it illuminated the entire solar system in a single, brilliant flash.

Witnessing this spectacle, Yahweh instantly appeared beside Airmid and the others who had come to watch, shielding them from the blast. Though she didn't know what was happening, it was always better to be safe than sorry.

Meanwhile, Mika stood at the center of the phenomenon.

He was completely unaffected by the wash of energy, his mind in communion with the God Cloth.

They were becoming one.

Unlike the God Cloths of Athena and the others in the Saint Seiya world, Mika's was infused with technology and magic from other worlds. This naturally included a soul-binding function. To Hephaestus, the idea that a God's personal divine weapon could be so easily taken and used by another was simply bizarre.

Therefore, Mika's God Cloth would fuse with him completely.

Without his permission, no other God could use it, even if they managed to steal it. And even if the armor were hidden at the corners of the world—or even beyond it—Mika would always be able to sense its presence.

At this moment, Mika was undergoing a deep fusion with the armor.

And this grand spectacle was the result of the God Cloth fully revealing its existence to him. It signified that they were communicating without reservation.

Until they were completely one.

—————

Slowly opening his eyes, Mika was greeted by the same desolate world.

But it was no longer cold and dark.

Because Mika himself now shone like a sun, illuminating the void.

"So this is the power of a God Cloth?"

Feeling the vibrant energy coursing through him, Mika's lips curved into a smirk.

At this moment, his strength had undergone a world-shaking transformation.

Although his Cosmo was still only at the peak of the Eighth Sense, just touching the threshold of the Ninth, with the amplification from his other power systems, he could already contend with beings of the Ninth Sense.

If one were to use the power scales of Saint Seiya and High School DxD, Mika's combat power was now undeniably at the level of a God in the former. Without any of Athena's blessings, he could take on a God single-handedly.

And in the world of High School DxD, he had surpassed the Gods, reaching the level of a Dragon God.

If he were to fight Ophis now, he would not be in the same pathetic state as before.
