CHAPTER 42-UPPER ROOM

Vojim: "This is great news! This is the secret weapon I spoke of before."

Genjo replied, "Still not enough."

A random person in the audience asks, "What is Upper Room?

Ark explained, "Upper Room is a form that enhances all your Anointed attributes instantly. For example, say Master Rouke was fighting right now. His spirit level is ten out of ten, and his gauge is one hundred out of one hundred percent. If he goes into Upper Room form, it will put his gauge at one hundred fifty and level fifteen over ten. The only problem is it's temporary. They both probably have three minutes until they black out completely. If not, they might die."

Ark's wristband started to glow. "Yes! I'm in! I can open the floors... Opening now!"

(Psshhhhhh... The bottom arena floor started to open.)

Cyro exclaimed, "An escape route? Not when it's starting to get intriguing!" Cyro jumped up and hammered both fists to the floor, jamming the floor doors. Everyone was shocked.

Genjo laughed, "Haha! Well, there goes the escape plan! Hahaha!"

Rouke encouraged, "Have faith in them, they will defeat Kyll and Cyro."

Hela added, "We must believe and pray. What's strange is how much they've changed."

Vojim observed, "It seems Khayjin found a way to put those aftershocks in his regular punches. Now, every punch he's swinging looks damaging."

Rouke praised, "He finally did what I've been trying to teach him! Great work, Khayjin."

Vojim continued, "Zane, on the other hand, is manipulating the elements through his sword, instead of relying on those pills. This is masterful."

Khayjin charged, swinging, and Cyro swung his fist. Their clash created a huge explosion of grey and purple (Swaboommm!). Then, they exchanged thousands of punches back and forth (Boom boom boom bam craxk bing boom vwom).

Cyro exclaimed, "Yes! This is what I've been waiting for!"

Zane and Kyll clashed with swords. Zane switched his sword to ice and slashed Kyll's legs, then to fire as he swung at his upper body. He cut Kyll's shoulder, but Kyll sliced his forearm.

Khayjin shouted, "Zane, now!"

Zane performed a lightning attack with his hand. The arena got dark as lightning formed in the sky. Zane kicked Kyll towards the sky.

Khayjin jumped towards the lightning cloud. Kyll saw him coming and prepared to block. Khayjin vanished and appeared next to the lightning cloud above.

"WIND BREAKER!" Lightning came down, and wind came down with the lightning, creating a whirlwind of wind electricity that hit Kyll in the air.

Khayjin landed, exhausted. Cyro appeared behind him and suplexed Khayjin into the ground, making the floor shake.

Khayjin flips back up and unleashes a flurry of heavier punches, each one generating a massive wind blast: "SM 2 WIND!" (BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM) The punches come faster and faster, with Khayjin swinging hundreds of blows that lift Cyro off the ground.

Cyro attempts to retaliate with a punch, but he's unable to withstand the sheer force of Khayjin's wind blasts, which hit him with incredible speed and ferocity. The constant barrage causes Cyro's skin to peel and tear.

In a desperate bid to counterattack, Cyro charges forward and delivers a powerful headbutt that strikes Khayjin with tremendous force. The impact is so intense that Khayjin's eyes glaze over, and he collapses, passing out cold.

Zane shouted, "Khayjin!" and charged at Cyro. However, Kyll appeared in front of him, countering his blade. Kyll then double-flipped and kicked Zane into the wall

Kyll dashed into Zane and yelled, "CM4 - Gambit's Fury!" He kicked Zane through Aza's wall, making the entire wall collapse.

Cyro mocked, "They get one little energy boost and fade out again? Hahaha! I actually got excited fighting that time."

Kyll replied, "Those bastards got me with a major move. I literally had to use most of my energy to shield. I could have died."

Cyro dismissed, "Well, it doesn't matter. They're all defeated now."

Kyll asked, "Yes, but why hasn't Master Genjo opened up the barrier? Plus, what was with the floor attempting to open up from the bottom?"

Cyro explained, "That Ark guy was trying to hack the system earlier to open the floor, but I smashed the gears so it couldn't open. I feel it was an escape route for the Anointed."

Kyll called out, "Hey, Master Genjo! Open the barrier! We're ready to get out of here!"

Rouke lamented, "I can't believe they all lost... (shaking) What would Ezon do? What do I tell all these people? How do I encourage people to move on from this?" (thinking to himself) "Wait a minute, where is Genjo?"

Hela realized, "I didn't even notice he left."

Kyll shouted, "Master Genjo! Get us out of here! Job's complete!"

Cyro wondered, "He wouldn't have left us, would he?"

Kyll replied, "Nah, he must be waiting for us to kill them."

Cyro asked, "Huh?"

Kyll explained, "He's waiting for us to finish them off. He did tell us he wants them dead as of now. There, they're all still breathing, barely, but he probably wants them all gone."

Cyro nodded, "Hmmm, that makes sense. Well, let's finish them off."

Just then, Nobu stood up "I'm... not... done... yet." I have a little left in me.

Kyll smirks you'll be the first to die I promise.
