Chapter 9: Trading Method

While waiting for his friend request to be accepted, Yan Youhuan didn't continue browsing Dreamland.

Using his mental power to control Dreamland's light screen for a long time gave him a feeling similar to sitting in front of a computer in his previous life, making him feel a bit tired.

He leaned back on his bed and closed his eyes to rest.

A few minutes later, Yan Youhuan suddenly felt a burning sensation on his chest.

He opened his shirt and saw the orange-yellow numbers on his chest start to glow.

He touched his chest but didn't feel anything unusual. It seemed to be affecting him internally.

He had a hunch and glanced at the blue light screen in front of him.

Sure enough, a notification appeared.

"Friend request has been accepted."

So, this was why 29 could respond so quickly after he accepted the friend request.

Yan Youhuan opened the chat interface, and several lines of text appeared.

"Golden Rat: Battle Roar Fighter - Fortia, Card Blueprint 1200 Contribution."

"Golden Rat: Battle Roar Fighter - Vinto, Card Blueprint 1400 Contribution."

"Golden Rat: Battle Roar Fighter - Gatos, Card Blueprint 2000 Contribution."

"Golden Rat: The main materials for the three cards are the same. Price is 500 Contribution and 500 units. If you buy all the blueprints now, I'll give you 500 units of the main material for free."

500 units of the main material?

Yan Youhuan's pupils slightly contracted. He found it hard to believe what he was reading.

Based on his experience killing Female Warriors at Gravel Camp, a 3-star monster would drop 1 to 3 units of the main material.

Giving away 500 units for free meant they had killed a lot of Battle Roar Fighters!

500 units of the main material were enough for him to make 100 cards.

Could this guy be a scammer?

Yan Youhuan found it odd. According to 56's post, Battle Roar Fighters could only be encountered occasionally at dawn. The post was made months ago, which didn't make sense.

Unless he had several teams constantly collecting resources from different monster areas.

After thinking for a moment, Yan Youhuan replied.

"Rebel Chef: Hello, are these the only card blueprints for Battle Roar Fighters?"

He knew the effects of all the Battle Roar Fighter cards and wasn't planning to buy the blueprints. He only needed the main materials.

This was a hint to show he knew about Battle Roar Fighters, which might make the other party think he had previously dueled with Battle Roar Fighter monsters.

This series of monsters had corresponding Magic and Trap cards. Yan Youhuan didn't know how to make these two types of cards. If he could get the blueprints, he might figure out how to make them.

56's reply was a bit slow, possibly because he was thinking or busy with something else.

"Golden Rat: These are the only ones you can buy with contribution points."

This response was interesting.

Yan Youhuan got the answer he wanted, but his doubts didn't lessen.

If they can't be bought with contribution points, what else could be used?

In Dreamland, only contribution points were used for trading.

Yan Youhuan didn't ask directly. Sometimes, the more you say, the more you reveal, which can change the outcome.

He asked another question instead.

"Rebel Chef: If I want the finished cards or the main materials, how will you deliver them to me?"

Blueprints and mental power skills are text information that can be directly written with mental power in Dreamland, so they can be traded here.

But cards and main materials are physical items.

This might be why the trading module in Dreamland doesn't have cards or main materials. Yan Youhuan was curious about how 56 would deliver them.

"Golden Rat: Just transfer the contribution points to me in this chat interface and tell me the delivery location."

This chat window has a transfer function!

Yan Youhuan carefully examined the chat interface and indeed found a transfer button.

At the same time, 56's words confirmed his suspicion.

Unlike blueprints and mental power skills, physical items could only be traded offline!

No wonder they weren't listed in the trading module. Both parties needed to agree on a delivery location.

"Rebel Chef: I get to decide the delivery location? Aren't you afraid you won't be able to return?"

How can I be sure you won't threaten me during the offline trade?

Yan Youhuan couldn't determine the strength of other Dreamland members, but he didn't think the person with No.56 - Golden Rat would be just a 1-star mental power user.

Technically, No.56 - Golden Rat is a 1st Rank Xyz Monster, summonable by a 1-star mental power user in a mental power duel.

Dreamland members likely had varying levels of strength. Even the previous No.59 died at the hands of a monster, allowing Yan Youhuan to pick up the card.

But 56 was definitely not in that group.

Maybe strong people don't care about weak people's cards, but No. cards represent not only power but also Dreamland membership.

Dreamland recognizes the card, not the person.

After a while, Yan Youhuan received a reply from 56.

"Golden Rat: Rest assured, it's a contactless delivery. I'm just a businessman."

"Rebel Chef: What if I transfer the money and you don't deliver?"

This was from his past experience. After what he went through in this life, he couldn't help but be cautious.

"Golden Rat: …"

"Golden Rat: Everyone can freely post and speak in the communication module. There's never been a post saying I took money and didn't deliver."

"Golden Rat: You're pretty cautious. Are you a new member of the organization?"

At this point, Yan Youhuan sighed inwardly.

He still communicated too much with 56.

"Rebel Chef: I only need 500 units of Battle Roar Fighter's main material. Can you deliver it to the spot 100 meters south of the central fountain in Diyazhen, South Region East Territory, at noon tomorrow?"

"Golden Rat: Customer, are you trying to deduce the card blueprints for Battle Roar Fighters yourself?"
