After leaving Gardez, Zephyr and others entered the forest once again which was no longer gloomy, dark with gigantic trees.

They wilted, leaving a mess of emptiness and wild creatures taking shelter there the second Kirkland was gone.

"I wonder why Zirkos didn't come for the sword before," Janessa asked curiously.

"Because of Darmiz's angel. Eradicating Kirkland would alert Darmiz and he won't allow his path to become easy." Delvin shrugged his shoulders.

"Or maybe he wants to give people hope that holding that sword means they can defeat him," David added, earning a nod of agreement.

"Yeah, you are right. He is the ruler of the abyss after all, he can think this way."

"Then wouldn't this mean he and Darmiz are working in collaboration? The same happened with Arthur Vargas, he came and was killed by Zirkos' commanders," Janessa asked, drowning in unveiling as it had begun to delight her now.
