Smooth Sail

Looking at the ringing card, Aiden knew exactly what it meant—Reyna's patience was wearing thin. The card only rang when there was a fight scheduled within the next six hours. A smirk tugged at his lips. He glanced at Kael standing next to him. "Well, looks like they've accelerated our plans."

Kael nodded, the tension clear but manageable.

Aiden turned to North, who awaited his orders like a loyal servant. "Head back to the Colosseum and act as if everything's normal. When I enter, make sure you're standing next to one of the other leaders. Scrutinize me like the others would, and then persuade him to come and watch my fight. He won't want to—he'll think I'm just an insignificant kid with novice strength—but convince him."

North bowed slightly. "As you wish, Master."

Aiden then turned to Kael, his expression serious. "Check if Veran's in the Colosseum right now. If he is, I want to know where."
