Zhuo Ya reached for her phone and glanced at the caller ID—it was a call from Xu Zigui.
Xu Zigui must have gone to her hospital room and, not having found Zhuo Ya there, became anxious and called her.
"Where are you?"
Once the call connected, Xu Zigui's angry voice came from the other end.
Zhuo Ya replied dully, "I went out for some fresh air."
"Out for fresh air? Who allowed you to go out for fresh air? Didn't the doctor say that you're very weak and shouldn't mess around?"
"Zhuo Ya, do you want to die?"
Xu Zigui's tone was irritable as he yelled at Zhuo Ya.
Zhuo Ya lowered her eyelids and gave a bitter smile, "Sorry."
"Don't say sorry to me."
Xu Zigui shouted angrily.
Hearing Xu Zigui's yell, Zhuo Ya helplessly said, "Then I'll go back now."
"Where are you? I'll come to pick you up."
"Just stay right there and wait for me."
"Okay."
Zhuo Ya's head felt dizzy and her vision began to blur.
She shook her head and forced herself to send her location to Xu Zigui.
