Ancestor Minghe watched Bodhisattva Guanyin with a calm expression.
He clearly understood the meaning in her words and did not appear angry, yet the words of Ancestor Minghe caused one to feel a tremble that came from the heart.
"Bodhisattva Guanyin? How mighty you are! Are you trying to use Buddhism to suppress my Asura Sect? Such words, if spoken by Tathagata, might be somewhat plausible, but you? The fact that I'm willing to speak with you is already giving you great face. Leave now!"
By the time he finished speaking, Ancestor Minghe waved his hand in a dismissive gesture.
Fury!
On hearing Ancestor Minghe's condescending and contemptuous words, Bodhisattva Guanyin reflexively felt a surge of anger.
But then, that anger quickly dissipated.
Reluctantly, Bodhisattva Guanyin realized that Ancestor Minghe was right.
If one were to speak frankly, she truly did not even qualify to converse with him; the gap in identity and power between them was that immense.
