This time, the Buddhist Sect had fallen into such a passive situation, which caused him, the newly appointed Buddha, to suffer much criticism.
Maitreya also felt a fire burning in his heart, as he wanted to prove to everyone on Mount Ling that he was a Buddha in truth and not just in name.
However, the situation was far from over.
No sooner had one wave settled than another arose.
At some point, a group of people claiming to be from the White Lotus Sect began to preach near Mount Ling.
Since they also practiced the Buddhist Law, initially, Mount Ling did not pay much attention to them.
Given that Mount Ling was currently full of various factions and sects, a new Buddhist group was not unusual and did not attract attention.
Yet it was this slight oversight that allowed the White Lotus Sect to grow rapidly.
