Luck had spent a lot of time thinking about how he could be noticed by the members of the school board but no matter how much he thought about it, most of the options he had would either take too long or were not assured.

But when Jared walked up to him with his own two feet he knew his opportunity had arrived.

Luck actually wanted Jared to assault him, he wanted to show his strength but he could not just walk up to a teacher and challenge them so he went for the next best thing.

Not a teacher, but a whole gang of friends.

Even though Jared was obviously far from the true class elites he had already created an image for himself. An image of someone who was among the best, that alone was enough.

Granted, Luck did not expect his insult to sting that much.

He smiled as he stared at Jared, his dark eyes burning with hidden malice.
