Chapter 9 Don't Compare Your Intelligence to Mine

"Who is it? Come in." The guard opened a crack in the door and saw a cold and peerless figure, his handsome face tight and somewhat pale, with a light sheen of sweat gathering at the corner of Ruyu's eye.

But that wasn't the point, the point was his hands were covered in blood.

The guard shivered, rubbing his eyes in disbelief, "Second Young Master? Are you injured?"

"Let's talk inside." The tall figure brought a chilling presence, like a strong wind sweeping in.

He strode into the back room, which was a luxuriously decorated yet comfortable lounge, its simple and clear design style starkly different from the noisy and wild outside, reflecting the owner's taste and elegance.

Bo Fengheng took off his jacket and realized the grey, high-necked knit underneath was soaked with blood from his arm, he lifted his sleeve to reveal a deep gash running from his wrist to his elbow.

"This is bad, really bad..." The guard's eyes widened and he ran out like a tornado, but instead of grabbing a medical kit, he frantically made a phone call.

"Fourth Master, the Second Young Master is hurt again, this time the bleeding won't stop..." The guard exaggerated, his voice filled with unusual terror.

Whimpering, he wasn't even sure if he could hold on!

"..."

Fifteen minutes later.

A low-key yet luxurious silver Bugatti ruggedly parked itself in front of the 1941 Bar.

The car door opened and a tall, slender man stepped out, clad in a black coat with half a cigarette dangling from his mouth, the smoke blurring his handsome face but somehow adding an indescribable charm and allure.

Indeed, this was the Fourth Master, Si Chen, the guard had mentioned.

He strode meteorically into the backroom, kicked the door open, and saw the man with the bare upper body being tended to for his wounds, he visibly relaxed but was then furious, "I fucking thought you were chopped to death, came here to collect your corpse."

"..." Lying lazily on the sofa, Bo Fengheng's athletic figure was on full display, each inch of his muscles exquisitely crafted, with a slight smile playing on his lips, "It happened suddenly, didn't have time to inform you guys."

"Oh, really? Do tell what grand affair our precious Chu Family's Second Young Master risked his life for?" Si Chen raised his brow slightly, a faint sneer spreading across his lips.

Afterward, he deliberately flicked the ash from the cigarette in his fingers, almost dropping it onto the wound.

Bo Fengheng, "..."

This damn enchanting devil, never takes a loss.

However, Bo Fengheng didn't bother to argue, he signaled with his eyes to the dazed guard at the door, who quickly came to his senses and hurriedly exited, slamming the door shut with a "bang."

Then, Bo Fengheng pulled out a sealed yellow leather bag from behind him and tossed it to Si Chen, "Mu Family records, I only found out last night that the old man from the Chu Family secretly sent someone to retrieve the records early this morning, so I took the initiative."

Si Chen was taken aback, caught it, and looked surprised, "You tipped them off?"

This was indeed the Mu Family's records. In their search for the whereabouts of a vaccine, they had been researching in secret for two years but still came up empty.

Even so, such a thing couldn't fall into the wrong hands, especially those of the Chu Family, who were under heavy suspicion, what if they discovered clues faster?

Bo Fengheng lifted an eyebrow lightly, "Don't compare your intelligence to mine."

This wasn't theft; it was an exchange.

"..." Si Chen glared at him, too lazy to argue, "The Chu Family has been quiet for two years, why suddenly send someone to fetch the records?"
