Chapter 10 Misunderstood Matchmaking 4

"Miss Chen's taste really is..." Mo Siluo took another look at Wen Wan's attire, and the words that followed didn't need to be said for Wen Wan to understand their meaning.

"Go to the restroom and take off the wig and glasses!" Mo Siluo ordered directly.

Wen Wan stood there without moving, wondering if by taking them off, he would recognize her.

"With them on, I have no appetite!" Those seven forceful words utterly defeated Wen Wan.

Wen Wan did as told, as she couldn't care much about it now. At worst, she would just explain clearly that she was simply hired, albeit shamefully.

After Wen Wan emerged from the restroom, without the wig and glasses, her beautiful face was revealed, though the green coat she wore still looked somewhat mismatched.

"Did you dress up like that on purpose?" Mo Siluo narrowed his dark eyes, his voice somewhat cold.

Wen Wan immediately shook her head.

"Have we... met somewhere before?" Mo Siluo stared into Wen Wan's eyes as he continued to ask.

Wen Wan's eyes widened, and she shook her head again.

After that, Mo Siluo spoke less, almost not opening his mouth again. Wen Wan confirmed once more that the Mo Family surely had a rule against talking during meals.

After dinner, Wen Wan and Mo Siluo walked down the stairs side by side. In the hall, Mo Siluo encountered some acquaintances and exchanged a few pleasantries. Wen Wan tactfully continued toward the exit.

Waiting at the door, Wen Wan took out her phone to call Tiantian, when suddenly, a force banged against her arm, and her body staggered, nearly causing her to fall.

Wen Wan stabilized herself in time, but her phone was not so lucky. With a 'snap', it hit the ground.

Wen Wan stopped the person responsible, only to find out it was a beautiful woman. But when the woman shoved a stack of money toward her, Wen Wan became angry. Not apologizing was one thing, but was this an insult?

"Apologize." Wen Wan stopped the woman.

The woman scoffed and simply walked around her.

Wen Wan was usually the type to keep the peace, but today, she felt unusually aggrieved. She quickly walked two steps and stopped the woman again.

"Apologize!!"

"And if I don't?" The woman was clearly getting angry too, just at that moment a call came in. With an impatient glance at Wen Wan, she reached into her bag to grab her phone, but Wen Wan slapped it to the ground.

The woman's phone broke part upon hitting the ground and slid in different directions; one piece was stopped by a black leather shoe.

"You—" The woman's eyes widened in disbelief, about to turn and rebuke Wen Wan, but her angry expression melted into adoring softness upon seeing the man in front of her.

"Mo, Senior Mo." The woman's voice was alluringly soft.

Wen Wan was taken aback, seeing the idol just two meters away from her, her mind blanking momentarily. Had he seen what just happened? It seemed so.

Mo Siluo was originally on the phone, his magnetic voice irresistibly soothing. However, it abruptly stopped because of this sudden "incident."

Mo Siluo's gaze lightly swept over the woman who called him senior, then landed back on Wen Wan.

"Senior Mo, my name is Jiang Xiaoyu, I also graduated from A University, last year I even attended your lecture." Xiaoyu was embarrassed as her admired idol's attention wasn't focused on her.
