Chapter 12 The Secret Hidden in the Book 2

Wen Wan suddenly felt like she was falling apart. She had left the book in Siluo's car! Now she could only pray the man wouldn't be so idle as to flip through that book! She truly couldn't imagine what his reaction would be when he saw his naked form appearing in her book, he would surely tear her to pieces!

In fact, Siluo really didn't have the leisure to flip through that book, considering other people's belongings dirty, he naturally wouldn't touch it. However, just because he didn't look, didn't mean others wouldn't.

"Brother, how did it go with Miss Chen? I heard that you took the initiative to ask her out?" Si'ai was indeed a worrying soul, especially when it came to Siluo.

"..."

Seeing her older brother ignore her, Si'ai casually picked up the book on the dashboard and flipped through it, "Fashion design? Bro, when did you start being interested in design?" She knew her older brother would never do such a thing.

When Si'ai saw the drawing in the book, she paused, her face flushed red, and then she burst out laughing, "Brother, who gave you this book?" Her brother would definitely not do this sort of thing.

Siluo seemed to notice his sister's unusual behavior and glanced sideways at the image in the book, his face changing color instantly.

"Who really gave it to you? That Miss Chen?" Si'ai was extremely curious.

Siluo, annoyed by the chatter, pulled over in front of a bus stop sign, "Get out, take a taxi back by yourself."

Miss Mo was thus abandoned on the road by her own brother.

Inside the President's office of Mo Group

Siluo rubbed his temples, seemingly weary, staring at the pinky ring and falling once again into memories. The door of the office was suddenly knocked, and then a man around one meter eighty entered.

"What are you thinking about?" The man frowned and spoke upon seeing this.

Upon hearing the voice, Siluo's thoughts returned from the distant past. Turning his office chair, he faced the man two meters away and reversed the question without answering, "You're back early?"

"Hmm, it went smoother than I anticipated," the man replied lightly.

The man's name was Rong Zifeng, a college classmate and roommate of Siluo, with a very close relationship. After graduation, he had followed Siluo into Mo Group, becoming his right-hand man.

Although Rong Zifeng was tall and well-built, he had a scholarly and gentle demeanor, completely different from Siluo's type.

Siluo was colder, giving off an arrogant feeling of looking down on others; Rong Zifeng was warmer, always wearing a smile like a tiger, but when it came to being ruthless, he didn't hesitate at all.

"You did well, what reward do you want?" Siluo asked directly, his fingers still subconsciously touching the pinky ring.

"I really can't understand, with your current strength, bringing down Yun Corporation isn't difficult. Why do you hesitate to act?" Rong Zifeng glanced at Siluo's movement and sighed slightly.

Siluo picked up his coffee and sipped, his gaze deep, "Tell me, is it better for a person to die suddenly or to lay on a hospital bed, barely alive?"

Rong Zifeng obviously understood, "But after so many years, how much longer do you plan to wait? The sooner you end it, the more it's a release for you."

Siluo's dark eyes clouded with uncertainty, and after a long silence, he finally spoke softly, as if murmuring to himself, "Release? Can I still be released?" He had also asked himself why he hesitated to act, and maybe, he was waiting for a very good opportunity.
