Mingyu kept turning his head, and when he saw Fan Shaoming approaching, he immediately tugged on Yan Ruoting's hand and said, "Daddy's here."
Yan Ruoting then turned around, smiling and waving at Fan Shaoming. Fan Shaoming walked over to the two, gave Yan Ruoting a ticket, keeping two for himself, then picked up Fan Mingyu, who had been saving their spot in the line.
There were still a lot of people lined up front and back. Yan Ruoting and Mingyu had been queuing up to save the spot while those behind couldn't really complain.
Looking at the people lined up like a train, Yan Ruoting said to Fan Shaoming, "Shaoming, there are just too many people."
Fan Shaoming glanced at the long line ahead and behind and responded coolly, "The weekend."
"Yes, it's always the busiest here on weekends. We used to come here a lot when we were awkward teenagers," Yan Ruoting changed her way of addressing him, smiling lightly at Fan Shaoming, "You probably don't remember, Shaoming."
