Tao Yi?
Chu Nanxi's heart surged with emotions, but her face only revealed a faint smile.
"I don't quite understand, what does Mr. Tang mean?"
Tang Yao's gaze remained fixed on the road ahead, his tone calm and deep.
"The first time I encountered Tao Yi's work was four years ago, when she had just published her first novel, 'Alone'."
Surprised, Chu Nanxi turned her face from the passenger seat.
'Alone' was her first novel, telling the story of a girl with social anxiety disorder.
The protagonist of that book reflected a significant part of herself to a large extent.
Of course, the initial reason for writing that novel was also based on a psychologist's recommendation, in hopes of reconciling with herself.
A friend of her father visited their home and stumbled upon it, mistaking it for her father's student's work, and he loved it so much that he repeatedly pleaded with her father to persuade the author to sign a contract for the work.
