Chapter 0523: Even Heaven Can't Save You

Qiu Ruoxi stood still, not having moved an inch since Ye Xunhuan had started killing. Seeing him walk towards her with both hands covered in fresh blood, his body stained red on one side, she almost subconsciously took two steps back!

Although this wasn't the first time she had seen Ye Xunhuan kill someone, the previous occasion had not been nearly as shocking, nor as bloody as this one!

When Ye Xunhuan saw Qiu Ruoxi's face full of panic and confusion, he bared his teeth in a simple smile and then peeled the duct tape from her mouth with his bloodied hands.

"Wife, I must have scared you!" Ye Xunhuan said with a smile, though his tone seemed somewhat somber.

This was him, his other side, the side he really didn't want to show to Qiu Ruoxi. But he knew well that he could hide it for a while, but not forever.
