"Here, drink some more," Tang Zelin unscrewed the cap of his water bottle and handed it to his wife.
Su Shu held up her own water bottle and shook it, "I still have some."
"I notice you drink frequently. Is there not much left?" Tang Zelin had noticed his wife unscrewing her bottle to take sips now and then throughout the day. How could there still be water in it?
He had been worried that she might run out later, so he had restrained himself from drinking and saved it for her.
"I still have plenty. Don't believe me? Look," she said.
She handed her water bottle to Tang Zelin.
Tang Zelin, somewhat skeptical, took it, weighed it in his hand, and sure enough, it felt mostly full, which made him furrow his brows in confusion.
"You drink a sip now and then, how can there be so much left?"
Su Shu took it back, smiled and said, "Because I'm a woman, I drink often but in small amounts. So don't worry about me, drink for yourself. If you run out, can I pour you some from mine?"
